There are various things that have either been debunked, can’t be proven or disproven and beliefs that are inspired by unlikely sources. Here are some of those things. Some sound absolutely bizzare while Others sound neat.
1.) The Earth’s structure
By now a lot of people have heard of the “flat Earth” theory. However, there are many other Earth layouts that some people believe in. Some people even believe that the Earth is much bigger than it’s said to be, that it’s actually a giant icy planet with the continents being only a small portion of the planet and that the Earth is hollow.
2.) Virtual reality
Some people actually believe we are all living in a virtual reality world like in the Matrix. The explanations given by believers of this doubtful theory vary, some claim that Earth was invaded and conquered by a extraterrestrial species which lead to humans being enslaved within a “Matrix”, they say that the so called men in Black and “shadow people” are like extraterrestrial maintenance workers that keep the matrix running properly. However this theory has been debunked since it offers no explanation to how reproduction is possible.
3.) Matrixism
A type of religion that was inspired by the Matrix franchise. However, not much is known about it since some people believe it’s only a joke but it went as far adopting the kanji character for “red” as it’s symbol, referring to the red pill.
4.) Hitler survival claims
There are many that believe that Hitler didn’t die in Berlin but actually died in Patagonia Argentina in the 1960s. There are several documentaries that show evidence of Hitler’s presence in Argentina and several Eye witness interviews who either saw him or talked to him.
5.) Nazi survival claims
Perhaps the most shocking think some people believe is that Nazi remnants actually fled Germany after it’s collapse and restablished communities in South America and Antarctica. While it’s true that many Nazis fled to South America after WWII, there is no way of proving or disproving Nazi presence in Antarctica or space. Long story short, the theories these people believe are that Nazis established a secret underground colony in Antarctica and in other planets. There have been attempts to prove these claims and to debunk them but neither has been successfull, perhaps some movie director will make a blockbuster movie involving the Nazi survival claims.
6.) Finland doesn’t exist
I don’t understand this one but some people believe that Finland isn’t real and that only Japan and Russia know the “truth”.

7.) Ancient Alien theory
By now most of you are familiar with the TV show “Ancient Aliens”, well there are many people who believe that that Humans are descendants of ancient extraterrestrial visitors, a extraterrestrial genetic modification and or were culturally influenced by extraterrestrial visitors. The people who are firm believers in this theory use archaeological evidence, ancient texts and anthropology to support their claims. Of course these people often clash with skeptics.
8.) jedism
A philosophy or religion based on Star Wars Jedi. They have a “Jedi code” and this philosophy or religion has no founder. Several people have stated that their religion is “Jedism”.
9.) Justifying dictators and tyranny
There are a lot of people who praise certain dictators and oppressive governments. Some people praise Hitler, others praise Stalin etc. They’ll either deny that the dictator or oppressive government did anything wrong or they’ll try to justify their actions.I think the reason for this is that they know little to nothing about the dictators or oppressive governments.
10.) Women can’t release flatulence or defecate
Originally it was meant to be a joke but some people took it too seriously that they actually believe women are biologically incapable of passing gas or going “number 2”.
