The Men In Black
When my friend and I were 14, we were hanging out in the park around 6pm. We were just chilling out, sitting and chatting on a park bench.
All of a sudden, we noticed two slim tall men dressed exactly the same. They both wore a black Fedora hat and a black trench coat. They stood side-by-side, shoulder to shoulder facing us. They seemed to have no face, but at the same time it appeared as though they were staring at us. They stood very still with their arms by their side.
We were scared, so we started running across the large playing field towards the park gates at the other side of the park.
We started walking as we neared the exit to the park. We looked back and saw that the two men were still standing in the exact same place in the exact same stance; shoulder to shoulder and arms by their side. However, their bodies were now turned towards our direction, and they were just standing, still staring at us.
As we approached the exit to the park, we looked to our left up the path, which goes around the park's playing field. We were shocked to see the same men standing in the exact same position staring at us not far from the park gates. They were a little closer to us than before, but it still seemed like they had no face. My friend and I were terrified; we screamed and ran out of the park.
There's noway the men could have reached the park gates before we did, because it was only a matter of seconds from the time we turned around to see them standing where they initially stood to where they ended up on the path near the park gates.
My mom said there may have been four men playing a trick on us. But how could they have known we'd run towards that particular gate in the park. There's actually five gates to go in and out of the park. And behind us, there was a football field, which we could have ran across to reach our homes. (I don't know why we ran the way we did)
If you have any thoughts on who they could have been, and how they could have ended up so quickly near the gates we ran out of, please feel free to comment. This has baffled my friend and I for years.
