Let me provide you with some perspective as to what types of guys there are when it relates to virginity:

1. You have the guys who are strongly passionate to find virgin girls. I am one of them. These guys are usually the one's who see sex as something very personable and not just for pleasure. You will find many of these guys virgins themselves seeking to share that first time with another virgin, because they see it as more mutual that way.

2. Then you have the guys who are not virgins anymore and afraid they do not deserve to be a woman's first experience. They too realize a woman's first time can be special and feel the girl do not deserve to be with a guy whose had many women before. These people may have made mistakes prior to and afraid of causing harm.

3. Then you have the guys who are in it for the pleasure, and believe that having sex with a virgin would not be as satisfying than a woman who knows what she is doing. These guys are usually the jerks you want to avoid, because they are very shallow and were looking into using you for sex anyways.

It's too soon to say. Since it has only been two days, something could be distracting him right now. If I were you, I would refrain from texting him or otherwise trying to contact him. If he continues not getting in touch with you, then your fears were right. Well, let me rephrase. It wouldn't be exactly right to say that he "lost interest", because he never had much of an interest in you in the first place. If he continues not getting in touch with you, then he has proven that he wanted nothing more than to fuck you a couple of times and leave. So, if he doesn't get in touch, be glad that he left without your virginity. (This is not to say that him getting in touch with you would prove that his interests are noble. There would still be a possibility that he just wants to use you. Keep abstaining from sex until you are sure of his intentions.)
