Why don't people recognize me at all?

Some people even teachers do recognize me some which I had in middle school recognize me , tho some I had in high school didn't which actually surprises me cause high school was like 5 years ago and middle school was probably 9 I'm 22 now anyways I've talked to some of them on fb some say they don't remember me some do and say u look diffrent , ect.. Even with classmates some that I think would remember me don't and some that I haven't seen since middle school do !! Why does this happen

in my case old schoolmates recognize me, but EVERYBODY the first thing they say when they see me (those who have to see me a long time) is "Oh my!!! How skinny have you become!! Don't lose anymore weight". Sometimes this gets me on my nerves, that this is ALWAYS the first thing they notice.

Although it's no wonder because back then i was a fat-ass weighing 250 lbs and now i'm 120-125 lbs

Imagine that when i was 12 i was around 140 lbs, and now at 23 i'm lighter... LOL

I suppose it's the impression you leave or don't leave on someone. I get from requests from people I went to high school with and I have no clue who they are. There were only 220 people in my high school. Obviously they made no impression on me.

Were you quiet and reserved? That might be why
Alsi, everyone can't remember every face that they went to school with. If it wasn't for my high school and junior high year books, I wouldn't remember many people my own self.

No I wasn't I knew people..
But for. Some reason the people that I know you don't remember me some do some don't and the people that I thought wouldn't remember me
