Well there are different uses of swearing. If a person likes to use swear words in an argument, that means they can't keep a rational mindset when faced with a conflict. I try to avoid people like them.
But I am quite a swearer I guess haha... I just use it to express myself. To emphasize how I feel about a certain situation (usually comes after the swear word) or person. I am a very expressive person like that and language (including the swear words) is how I express myself. If I can never swear again, I would lose that expressive part of me and I would only be like half of who I am.

Honestly I don't see why swearing should even offend people unless it's being directed towards them in order to insult them. Otherwise they're simply means of expression and are synonyms of other words that are fine to say. Truthfully there is so much more shit to be offended about, let people speak however they want it really doesn't hurt anyone. If it really does bother you though then just walk away, simple as that.
I am so foul mouthed that I've been criticized for being "less ladylike" since I was a teen. To me, it's no big deal, I know how to tone it down and can control myself, but if the convo is casual I'll drop some fucks, shits, cocks, etc. No one has ever accused me of being less intelligent because I tell people to eat shit popsicles and fuck off.
swear no. but if they're backstabbing, or insulting other people like being racist, stereotyping others, no matter how old he/she is, I will never ever respect them. jerks are jerks regardless whatever gender/age they are
No, not really. I cringe when they are overusing profanity but I swear sometimes so I can't get mad at others for doing the same.

I lose respect for those who think swearing is bad.

Sometimes I swear too much and when I notice I get really embarrassed. Like i'll actually apologize and I'll try to go a week or so without doing it as a way of breaking the habit. But a few months later it usually comes back for a while. I don't lose respect for people who do but I lose a little respect for people who every other word is fuck this or shit that and they obviously don't care.
If they have the intention to disrespect me then I don't have any respect for him. But if he swears at every sentence he makes, it just sounds less intelligent but I'm not offended.
Well, i wouldn't mind. I swear quite a bit in real life. I try to keep it tame here because the people on the internet are so delicate. But irl i curse like sailor.
I personally don't like it - I won't start grading anybody by their use or non use of bad language - I do feel if you are swearing for the sake of swearing it is off putting like in normal conversation.
lmao no. I swear a lot myself and while I've been judged a lot for it, someone else cursing doesn't tell me anything about their character. They're words. I will base my respect for someone based on more important things.
No, swearing doesn't mean shit.
It'd be hypocritical to judge someone else for something I do so... yeah.yes and no it honestly depends on how often they do it.. that being said i dont trust people who dont swear at all
It really depends how they do it. I swear a lot myself but if they have to swear constantly or can't make a point across without swearing then I question them.
It depends on how often they are doing it and how bad the words are.
I don't know why anyone would respect you to begin with when you like to leave your flabby tits hanging out for all the world to see.
On the contrary, I don't trust people who don't swear.
I swear a lot but I can control it if someone doesn't like it
Nope. I cuss and I have an IQ higher than Einsteins.
Plus, people who cuss are more likely to be honest. For swearing? No.
Does the person swears 24/7? Ys.No of course not, based on the setting In would commend them for their honesty
No.
I'll just want to talk to them less because a swearing habit isn't fun to listen to.Although I never swear, I'm completely ok with other people doing it because I'm so used to it... Swearing doesn't make someone less trustworthy.
I particular don't mind slang but don't like when people use Gods name in vain.
No. I lose respect for people that don't keep their word/promises. Cussing is fine with me, as long as it isn't all the time especially when around kids.
No, I won't lose respect for them as long as they don't disrespect me.
