That's a load of horse crap, it's bogus. Those that put that information out there, I want them to show me one tangible shred of hard provable evidence to substantiate that claim.
Not true. The brain does reach full maturity around 25. But the brain is plastic, it changes throughout your entire life based upon your experiences and environmental pressures.
@Badballie Exactly. Einstein developed the theory of general relativity between the years of 1907-1915, when he was in his late 20s-mid 30s. On the contrary, you don't hear much college students making any discoveries. In my opinion, someone's most productive age is from 25-35
@Torari It's all about the education received by the brain. If you don't educate a brain it will remain undeveloped. Did you ever hear the unfortunate story of the girl that was locked in a room by her inhuman mother for years now considered brain damaged due to total isolation? Go look it up on youtube. Society has chosen NOT to educate youth in areas and therefor keeping them undeveloped.
@ThisAndThat they are doing the same tasks and procedures over and over again, they aren't performing any complex tasks/procedures. Do you seriously compare that with the discovery of the theory of relativity? Enough with opinionated Americans that think their opinion is gold
@gothgirl997 Operating heavy equipment takes a set of skills that are normally elected to be done by those at least age 18 in western countries. I know, I've done lots of construction.
@ThisAndThat No doubt, Chinese people are more intelligent than Western people which shows on the scores they get in Mathematical Olympians. However, this doesn't mean that every 5 y. old boy can operate a tractor... This is something unique, that's why it's on YouTube. Some kids can't even speak at that age or experience learning disabilities. It doesn't show anything about brain deterioration There's really no point in discussing with a know-all so I'm muting this off
@gothgirl997 I had to learn at an early age too. I was working by the time I was 7 years old and I'm not Chinese. My parents and grand parents did too. It all boils down to what's given as to how much is learned and what. If you keep children in a house sitting around playing video games video games is what they'll know. I don't believe it sitting around, I believe it teaching children something they can use in the future. But believe what you want to believe which is what you're told and I'll continue knowing what I know.
@gothgirl997 Chinese are not more intelligent, because of high math score. Maths is a tool period. Applied physics uses mathematics to find solutions. Where are the B Gates, Binekos etc

The human mind doesn't completely develop until age 25 so mentally, yep.
Yes. They are young adults but are still forming and developing mentally and physically.
Currently yes. In the past, no. And as you said most, some teens are very mature.
The human body develops up until 21 -25 (everyone is different) as for mentality we are constantly changing...
I have seen 18-19 year old grown up and 30 year olds who still need growing up :)
Haha! You are still growing in your 20s and 30s. 18 is nothing.
Yessssss!!! Oh God, I remember when I were those ages. >__<
of course. most people that age are fucking idiots.
Yes. This is a scientific fact. Most peoples prefrontal cortex is still not fully developed until they turn about 25.
Your brain stops developing at 26

@ThisAndThat it’s information on the latest research that my English teacher gave me dumbass. Educate yourself.
@ThisAndThat Simple Bill Gates etc were not 19 when they started to be successful. Show me the Einsteins at 19 you stupid know it all child.
English teacher sucks probably a snowflake.

@gothgirl997 Tell that to the 6 year old Chinese that are working to build all the cheap crap sold and purchased in the west.

Well, aging doesn't stop until you die
My brother is 21 and still acts like a child
Whaaaaattttt? Ofc they aren’t
Why not?
Oops. I’m sorry I meant ofc they are. They are still pretty young. Just become young adults
Yes I do agree with this 💯
Everyone is still growing up.
OF course they are... isn't that a fact
Being one myself, I say we're still growing up.
Yeah they just left high school lol
Of course. They aren't even really adults.
I think most 28-29 year olds are still growing up.
