Okay I’m plus sized myself and trying to lose. It’s fine to be confident and feel pretty and all but the message this sends out is that it’s okay to be morbidly obese, which is not okay. In fact, it’s a danger to to your physical health. I was 250 lbs before losing weight. Now I’m 216. I still have more to lose but I’m doing it. I hated myself at that size but I also knew I had a choice: get fit and feel better about myself of buy into the poison narrative of fat acceptance. I chose the former (and I don’t care if I piss off pro-fat acceptance people by calling it that).
I’m sorry, but regarding her, Tess Holliday and Whitney Thore as positive role models for women is flat out delusional. No doubt they mean well, but the message itself is that it’s okay to be unhealthy

Oki there is a difference between a plus size woman and one that is deliberately obese. Most plus size girls are that way because of their thyroid glad not because they decide they want to be the fattest woman on earth. Bobbi Jo is a fat ass slob who should NEVER be called a model.
Diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, musculoskeletal problems... Need I go on?
Even if that is what makes her happy, I cannot support her decision. I became a doctor because I care about the health and well-being of my fellow humans, and it saddens me when people make choices like this.
It also causes a small spark of anger inside me. It may not be a proper reaction, but I have no power over what I feel (only whether and how I act upon it). The lack of respect for the body and one's own health grinds my gears enough to cause a small amount of anger.
She is like anyone who takes it too far - She is ruining it for anyone promoting body positivity who rightly says I am not the shape of a model but I am healthy being this size - I support body positivity once it stays healthy, if you go overweight or underweight that is not positive and you are putting yourself in danger, being a bad influence on others.
Bobby Jo is at least 200 lbs overweight - Doing untold damage to her heart, organs and joints - She is probably taking years of her life expectancy to be a tabloid story,

Diabetes model?
Anyhow. If you want to decrease birthrates even further, may as well put that picture into several public places. Just looking at it makes my semen die off.
It's NOT normal and it's NOT healthy. There is a reason why we find this repulsive. It's biology deeply ingrained in us.likely she will die due to complications of being too large before she reaches her goal that's sick it's disgusting and it is just simply unhealthy shame on her. I know this world in this country has a thing about not talking about overweight or obese women being large and beautiful but if your large and beautiful you're unhealthy.
That's disgusting. She looks like the Michelin Man. Wtf is a 'plus size model' anyway?
She iobviously has issues. She's disgustingly obese , and has no respect for her own body or she wouldn't abuse it by overeating and eating unhealthy foods.
Most people I know who are grossly obese say they hardly eat, so they can't understand how they're so fat. 🙄 They're either in denial or just liarsThis is grossly unhealthy and sends terrible messages to the youth of the world. This woman is not "plus sized" she is morbidly obese and is damaging her body in ways that are irreparable if the go on too long. The message this sends to the most impressionable among us is that it's okay to put your life at risk, so long as you like what you're doing. It's not. The media needs to shun people like this.
Honestly I’m supporting her because us females need to learn to help build each other up, and it’s not like we can do anything about it by just talking about it on an app/website that she probably doesn’t even know about. All we can do is watch and hope she makes the right decision for herself.
I'm actually surprised that she can walk. But she feels really confident so that's good! I'm a bit worried about her well being, how does she wash herself?
Just sad. The last woman I heard who did this died in her 30s. This is an attention disorder.
I don’t think I’ll ever understand why some people have these crazy, ridiculous “goals.” That’s more obese than “plus size.” I think sometimes these things are a cry for attention. Also, as we all know, that isn’t healthy at all.
Check it out guys i have diabetes now, am blind and had to have my foot amputated but i have the record now.
For the record i'm not making fun of her i just hope she hits it quickly and gets on the weighr loss before too much permanent damage is done.Probably keel over with a heart attack before she gets her crown!
She has the fattest hips I've seen. She needs mental help, because that's not a food mindset to have. The human body can only hold so much before she becomes immobile
Thats so unattractive
I want to see her medical/health report, cos i'm sure she has at least heart decease and kidney issues, from what i'm seeing lol
She is NOT plus size. She is a major health concern.
That is an interesting way to get famous... well I guess it is working... I hope she can lose all of that after...
How can you be a model if you can't fit into anything?
Well. We all gotta have dreams. And if somebody has to have this dream then I’m thankful it’s hers.
She better stay out of the oceans around Japan. I hear they've started whaling again.
That's quite a bit of a stretch (pun intended) to capture a title that will probably be broken in a few years anyway.
In the meantime, her health will continue to degrade.
