People with [sleeve] tattoos: How much did they cost?

My boyfriend's birthday is Tuesday, and I was thinking as part of his gift, I would put money towards him getting his sleeve finished.

First, he has a tattoo on his forearm, and it's huge. Second, I know that sleeves cost a pretty penny, but his current tattoo is unfinished, anyway. Third, I know it doesn't get finished in one session, and most likely, whatever money I put towards it won't finish it, but I want his actually tattoo to be finished at least. Fourth, yes, I know he can't do it now because of COVID-19, but I would still give him the money and he could get it done in the Fall hopefully, maybe sooner.

I'm thinking $200 is a good start. But how much did your tattoos cost? I don't have any of my own, so I don't know what the price point is for tattoos based on size and colors. Post pictures, too, if you can, even if it's not a sleeve so I have some idea of price and quality, also so you can just show them off lol.

Depends on where you live but usually the bigger the tattoo the more it cost

just for a small 5 cent coin tattoo it cost me $50 though other places I was looking at anywhere between $90 and $120 and my next tattoo which is no bigger than a 50 cent coin I am looking at $160

I can easily tell you they cost over $2000 if done properly by a high graded BBB registered tattoo parlor
