I see my dead girlfriend everywhere I go. what should I do help me please?

My girlfriend ( 16 ) died a year ago. She jumped from the 16th floor of a building after I broke up with her.
She called me many times after we broke up but I didn't pick her phone and the next thing I know she is dead.

I have been in shock for an year now but I thought it's time to move on so I started dating a classmate at school recently. Ever since I decided to move on , I have been seeing my girlfriend in my dreams every night

first it were just the dreams , now I am seeing her while I am fully awake. She follows me everywhere , she sleeps in my bed. She doesn't say anything.

I know I sound crazy , but right now while I am typing this , she is across the room sitting on the sofa watching me. What should I do? I am being very serious please help me I know I definitely sound very crazy and delusional saying this

I'm so sorry for your loss. This is a true tragedy. I fully understand why you would feel the way you do. You've been trying to cope with it for such a long time now. It is probably pointless to say it is time to forgive and move past it, as you already know and are struggling to do so. So here's a few suggestions...

Talk to a counsellor who specializes in grief. It might be the only way to really unpack all the details and feelings you have about it. A professional will help you to really process this, and not just bury it.

Write a letter, to her, and explain your thoughts. You might think it's no different than sitting quietly and thinking the thoughts, but somehow it is. Inside the mind, they can be surprisingly jumbled. There is something therapeutic about writing or verbalizing them, especially either with an audience (friend or family member) or knowing there is an intended recipient. It will help organize them, and very possibly even give you a sense of closure.

Remember that as painful as this is, death is a part of all life. You are not alone and you will not be the last to try and reconcile this most difficult situation. Solidarity can bring some comfort. Asking this on gag is a good start. You might also look for support groups, especially of teen suicides. If you can offer any insight to someone who is, themselves, on the edge, it could assuage some of your guilt. Everyone is an individual. Even one person helped is a person's life turned around, or given the chance to begin again.

You might try watching this movie. It is beautiful, subtle, has a wide cast of characters, some of them teenagers, and it tackles the complex topic of teen suicide (and don't worry about how it ends. There is some comfort and salvation.)

I don't believe she's haunting you. If you want to believe that, if it makes you feel better somehow, then embrace it and speak to her (either out loud or in your mind.) I believe this is your way of trying to reconcile the guilt of trying to move into the next phase of your life. Unfortunately, she made her choice and it cannot be undone. As others have said, this was about more than just you. You cannot be responsible for a decision she made. The only thing more tragic would be if it also took your life as well. Remember... there is a difference between existing and living. Or as Morgan Freeman's imprisoned character in the amazing Shawshank Redemption said, "Get busy livin' or get busy dyin.'"

From what I understand, she jumped after you broke up with her. So I’m gonna assume that it was because you ended things and not just something that happened after the relationship. The reason I want to be sure about which one it is is because I’m gonna say something that you really need to think about because the reason you’re seeing her everywhere is because you feel guilty and as if you could have prevented this by not breaking up with her: someone who would threaten or commit suicide because someone doesn’t want to be with them anymore is someone who had a lot of issues that have nothing to do with you. You can’t blame yourself. You’re seeing her everywhere and dreaming about her because you think you caused this and it’s stopping you from accepting it and moving on. To get through this, you may need counselling. Death is a very hard thing to deal with and people need support and guidance when trying to heal from a situation like this. But one thing you can’t do is think that you in any way caused this.

A girlfriend is an important source of love, strength, and support in your life and if she was to die it would cause you great sorrow. No matter if she is a girlfriend that you are dating or a girlfriend that is simply your friend. However you need to know that to have a dream about a dead girlfriend this means that you have lost some important source of one of these aspects in your life. A source of support that was keeping you up is now gone. Consulting a professional would be better rather than asking on G@G.

Maybe it's cause your younger and your being haunted by her restless spirit i would suggest finding a way to condemn her from coming back like the hmong shamans do when their family spirits pass so they can never visit again you might have to get medvil and pray and rebuke her away or another way

people don’t commit suicide on a whim... there’s usually other issues or problems. This isn’t in any way your fault or responsibility. She did not kill herself because you broke up with her. Period. With that being said. I’m not going to say anything about your dreams and or visions. I’m Native American and both have meanings deeply rooted in my culture other than use the opportunity to talk to her. Say what’s on your mind. It’s okay to be angry, sad, and a hundred other emotions regarding her and what she did. I think once you say what needs to be said, you’ll find peace

There’s a few ways you can handle it. One is simply to salt the room and tell her she needs to go.
Or, you can invite her to talk with you, get things resolved for her so she can move on.

Have your GP refer you to a qualified therapist, this is no matter for Internet randomers to "fix", we'll probably just make it worse. Talk to a professional, like a psychotherapist or a grief Councillor or something

Just talk to her bro.
Also pray to God for forgiveness and ask him to protect you from her spirit.
