Some people block other people just because they write an opinion they disagree with or find offensive
Maybe they go anonymous because they don’t want to be blocked. Also most people who write insulting comments or insulting questions usually go anonymous because they are cowardly
The people here are veeeery stupid and they're rightfully ashamed of their thoughts and opinions. However, that still doesn't mean they realize they're already anonymous.
To be more anonymous? LOL I don't know for some answers i feel like I'm exposing myself even though i use a picture of a cat

u It's just another layer/level of anonymity, whis is available, valid and necessary sometimes for some people.
It is like people who get covid-19 government cover their information. I think there is ethics there. If you are not ready dont try it.
Most of the time trolls, because if people bother you with msgs you can make your profile private so no excuse unless they are using their real information and their picture and they are afraid someone might recognize and judge them.
I have always wondered the same. I have never gotten a good answer.
