Gun control laws they should be illegal
I'm all for having our gun rights. I own a gun myself. But I do believe we need some laws so criminals can't easily buy firearms.

Like violent felons not being able to purchase or possess a firearm. Or someone with severe mental illness, there should be an age limit so no one in school can purchase one to shoot their classmates. That's all I can think of right now.
In NH children were able to have firearms you don't have any school shooting there every state is different some are 9 years old others are 16 I was living in NYC no guns allowed however @ 16 years old going 2 hunting class 4 your hunting certification which is good in any state especially applying for a carry license so you don't have to take the class in that state anyway back 2 NY you can touch you can fire at a firearm range with a instructor next 2 you that's the only time you could touch the firearm other than making a purchase of 1 assuming you have all the proper permits in place I'm dead serious about that the permit that bothers me especially the cost at least in Hawaii which is just as strict as NYC the carry permit is free so all they do is waste your time and not your money so if you're all about Public Safety make the carry permit free. I think the only people that should have a permit are people with past convictions Canada Believe it or not 25 years ago used to have a Pol possession only licenses permits system in other words you can have a firearm in the house for self-defense which is not a stand your ground country & hunting purposes you have a lot of people that the spouse has a firearm in the house but if it comes a debate because the other person has a record so this is my proposal Law Abiding Citizen should not have to apply for a concealed carry permit they can carry a training card with them that says they have required training & people certain convictions can apply 4 a public safety permit the Threat Level analysis they can either have a what NYC will call premises house permit the gun has to stay in the house or business or a lower risk threat assessment they can have what they call an open carry permit type system depending on the area some places they don't want to see anybody carrying a gun John Wayne cowboy style but the majority of the states I think this system workout.

Whenever you buy a gun they run your name through a federal background check. They also check for things like restraining orders.
There is an age limit is 21 to buy a pistol.
Do yourself a favor and research firearms laws that exist.
Also they already outlawed murder. That didn’t work. Laws are broken all the time. That’s why we have police…. but not any more because we’re busy defunding them.

@Exterminatore Actually I do own a gun and am perfectly aware they do background checks. But that's with laws in place. If you read what I wrote correctly you will see my argument is if we had NO gun laws in place, that includes our current ones meaning none, criminals would buy them from gun dealers.
