How old were you when you first saw snow?

I've known snow all my life. I was born outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and lived there until I was five when we moved to Michigan.

It was and I was not prepared! Haha I actually was sick the whole time I was there xD. I had to buy proper attire out there 🤣

When I was about 5, I remember my dad taking my mom, brother and I out to the desert to see the snow. We got into his 1974 Suburban and drove to Little Rock, California. There was not much out there, this was like 1982. My dad got out and started throwing snowballs at the truck when we were putting our boots on. My brother and I thought he went crazy, so we got out and started throwing snowballs at each other. We went to a little old roadside diner called the Circle J and ate breakfast underneath a giant buffalo head hanging in the wall. I couldn't believe an animal could be that big. About 10 years later we went back out there to meet up with my dad's friend and test out my dad's new shotgun. We went to the old diner again and the buffalo head was gone. My brother and I were disappointed. They said they had to get rid of the buffalo head because bugs were living in it and it was a health code violation.

I was born and raised in So. California. A place called Santa's Village opened six weeks before Disneyland, about a year after I was born. It's in the mountains above San Bernardino. It was particularly magical in winter when there was snow. I don't remember the first time I saw it, but I'm sure I was very, very young.
