I’m sick to my stomach with this new crap they trained us on. How can you expect me to remember 300 new slides a day we for basically 2-3 months straight. I don't know wtf I’m doing y'all. Training is over and I’m trying to assist clients but am now hiding out in the bathroom at this point 😭😂 I’m going to keep asking my client to hold until a moment longer. I was nearly crying like on my first day on the job 3 years ago. This shit is difficult. I need to get hired elsewhere cause this is the hardest financial related crap I’ve dealt with since I’ve worked here. And i hate people. Good Lawd I’m not a people person. I hope yalls day is better.

Im prob bout to skip work one day a week at this rate. My first 3 years I refused to skip, but hey, new year, new rules. This is not for me. I hate to even take vacation/sick time after learning how their bullshit works. Okay say for example i make $30 an hour. Well if i take vacation, they’d only pay like $15-25 an hour for every hour of vacation/sick time i take. They are full of shiiiiiit. Ion like workin for the fedz. Im not doin no more gov work after i quit these crooks

Seems like you might wanna go Look for different job opportunities. I know the feeling about doing a job you dont like but we stay for the bills to be paid. Until one point I got fed up and found a different opportunity. It's not much better , it's a farther commute but it was less stressful on me and I didn't hate the change. It is less consistent so that's a bit upsetting but maybe that's another sign that it's a change from that too.

Sadly it's the price we pay for sanity. Noone said it would be easy but maybe it's time to trade cars or find other transportation options or move but in the end , sounds like this job will end up killing you emotional. ( As I had an ex that this is currently happening to )

Hence let's start considering the cost it would take for your next job Vs now , what habits we can do to make some $ savings so the commute seems less of a hit as well as the positive benefits of a new position. I'm sure you have coworkers so worst case you stay in your current position, you could ask them how they are dealing with it?

Trainings over so they sent us home to work, a week before the gas jump hit here. So atm none of us are having a hard time. But my job doesn't care about gas. Some coworkers live 5 hours away and they made them come to the main office daily for 3 months of training when it was only supposed to be 2 weeks

I don't think they would commute daily if it's 5 hrs it's one way so maybe they might rent an apt. I don't know. It's whatever your comfortable with but for most people, 5-8 hours is the amount of free time they have aside from work and sleep. Lol

Well I'm currently in my home town and this bungalow is very noisy now due to all the preparations of my cousin sister's engagement and honestly I want to go back my home! Being a volunteer in marriage home is hella tiring. Like one moment I will sit here the other moment an aunty will say "Sweety go and put this rice container in the venue" "Dear call the boy's mom. They should reach by 2 hrs but we got no update." "Honey go and check whether your sister came from parlour! She needs to do her make up here. The make up artist have already reached" and what not! Ugh now an aunty called me back for something. I gotta go bye 👋

Don't be disheartened,, stay positive, think optimistic, do all the chores but put effort and creativity into those which are really meaningful to adults and help the elders/adults or d ones who are too shy to ask for help. This will create an affirmative reputation for you among your relatives, might get you some perks and advantages over other kids of your age like treats and even reward money that u can save up.

My day ummm i regret missing morning prayer cuz im really trying to be back to punctuality... and rest was fine id say... i went out to look up for something my sis told me to do... and i had samosas... and i played w my cousin's 6 month baby somewhat while my cousin had lunch... and i made this n put on my wall... it says Allah in Arabic... Well, still have no place to stay, check ain't here, so I can't go to that job interview. And neither boss called me from the jobs I tried to contact. But i'm alive and not bleeding out my butt. So it's all good. (lizen to meh, I'm glad that's not happening rn, i'll tell you what, it doesn't feel good.)

Don't know what's going on with my life. Doing the same 4 steps everyday:

1. Coding
2. Finding that code is not working
3. Debugging
4. Calling a more experienced teammate for help, cause I failed at step 3.

After 10 hrs of that, today I went out to learn driving (I know I'm too old to not know how to drive), realised I'm a pathetic driver, came back and now sulking at it.

Except for all of that day has been good.

My day has been busy as all get out. Someone else made a mistake and it became my problem, then someone else screwed something else up and yup my problem and then um dealing with my team and internal issues yes its been a day.

But this afternoon had a nice walk with my wife.

They dont want us to memorize (which i tried but have a horrible short term memory). They want us to search for files and its like 2000 files and its just a lot with so little time and impatient people

We only get 2 weeks vacation out of the whole year and our job only allows us to choose from 3 certain months a year to vacay in. So we really dont even get options. And now that i know the pay is less on vacay, i wouldn't take vacay anyways unless im sick.

Yes everyone has to take vacay in the same allowed months. They basically do that to backup clientele. The jobs a joke. And nah I don't know about still taking vacay because my check is like 50-75% compared to a full.

So i have to mail stuff, request stuff, fill out stuff, take client calls, talk about loan settlement stuff, help people prepare for college and just a bunch of shitty stuff
