I had a dog that liked grapes and carrots we didn't give her very many grapes because they are poisonous so she got very small amounts of them and very rarely
I also had a salmon crusted malachian cockatoo it was also an albino
I had an alligator that we taught to roll over and I think his name was Bob his name was Bob or my tortoise was Bob I don't remember which was Bob this was a long time ago many years ago I was very young
My dad was a snake person so we had snakes and other snakes and even more snakes I think we had almost 200 kinds of snakes at one point my favorite being a Burmese python because it was cute
I also had a pet tarantula he was cute too but I wasn't allowed to pet him he lived in a tank and the tank was separated into two so that way we could also have our bark scorpions or were they sand scorpions I know we got them from someone who said they got them at the beach but I'm sure there are bark scorpions near the beach as well so I don't know
I would like to mention we've had multiple alligators but Bob was the coolest so he's the one I mentioned because again we taught him how to roll over and he was a good boy he was even friendly sometimes I would pet him but one day he bonked his head on a light and he was laying down in his food dish and he bit the light and electrocuted himself and that was really sad poor Bob rest in peace Bob I don't even remember if that was your name I just remember I was saying and I remember you were a good little alligator except for you were like at least 4 ft long which isn't very little if you think about it

I had a bunch growing up since I caught all sorts, but my favorite was a pet fruit bat. It fractured its wing and so I took it in and we took it to the animal hospital where they mended its wing. It looked like this:
My father agreed to let me keep it provided I take care of it and feed it. That was a bit tricky since bats are nocturnal, so I'd have to wake up at midnight often to feed it. Yet it'd dangle upside down on my finger and eat fruits like bananas and mangos.
I had bubble fish - that is fish with genetically engineered puffy cheeks to make them look cuter, two were murdered by another fish that was stalking them, they jumped out of the tank to escape and died from dehydration.
I used to have an albino frog. My parents left the fish tank light on all night and it cooked him.

Fire bellied Toad. Needed to have constant water to sit in or else it would die. Belly was considered poisonous and although you could hold him, you had to wash your hands after doing so. Probably the most unique one for me and taught me to be more detail oriented to keep him alive and well fed. He would devour crickets and need a new supply every week if I remember that right. Think the crickets came in packets or 100 or so alive.
Otherwise I have had a few pet rats, a hamster, Guinea pigs, dogs and a cat.The most unique and dangerous pet more dangerous than a Pittbull/Boxer was a Chow/Chow he was a family pet from being a puppy growing up he was my mom's Pup with one incident I was trying to defend 4 month old kitten from being mauled to death by Chow/Chow and he turned around and bit me through my upper lip. Nothing happened at that point. 8 months after that he attacked and killed the neighbors dog in his defense he did nothing wrong he was on heavyweight leash the dog came over 4 times in Our Yard and tormented him day and night. So essentially he or she got what they asked for as far as Im concerned the dog ran and died from step of neighbors from porch. Police were called by neighbors, Teddy the Chow/Chow quarantined for 10 days and released. CHOW/CHOW BREED'S are very dangerous dog's they were bred to protect Chinese Emperors and are fearlessly protective of their owners even the Police were afraid of him Lol
I have had a tarantula. Though it's odd that people see a rabbit as a unique pet. Because they can be great pets if you are willing to work with them after getting one. One of mine treats me like her person bed. If I lay on the floor she will jump on me, flop over and take a nap.
At home? A rooster. TERRIBLE PET!!!
In my class? I've had all kinds of critters. Tarantulas, garter snakes, corn snakes, tree frogs (noisy! and you wouldn't think so from their size), scorpions, millipedes, hamsters, mice, rats, anole lizards, turtles, and others I am perhaps forgetting.
Snakes BY FAR are my favorite classroom critter. VERY easy to take care of!I have a gecko and frogs. I look around and notice that not many people own geckos or frogs as a pet lol.
Lol my nickname used to be Thumper in this one place.
My buddy had this electric eel it was gross looking but when the lights went out it glowed and it could shock peeps if u got too close i never owed it but it of all pets or lizards I ever seen was that !

As for species - nothing out of the line.
But we now have a cat (saved out of a tree) that has kind of blue eyes;
and he's disabled: ''Ataxia''; he walks around as if he's permanently drunk.Omg!
He is so freaking adorable! 😍
I currently have a rabbit, and her name is Caramel. I use to have a goat when I was younger. :)I had a guinea pig when I was little, he was so special.
I've never had a pet, but I definitely used to think the squirrel in my garden was mine when I was like 4.
That is an epic bunny rabbit. I have just had a dog and some cats, a mouse and some fish. I also had a parakeet. He did not live very long.
I had a rabbit just like that and also called him thumper that was like over 40 years ago, iâve had different types of hamsters and I think the one unique thing I had was a seahorse
My first pet that I thought was a stray dog was actually a coyote my mom lost her mind when she realized it😂
I've only owned some goldfish, but I don't consider them unique.
