I am an INFP (also known as the mediator/idealist).
INFP are quiet, observant, and good listeners. We like to avoid conflict, and we tend to put others first. There is more, but most importantly, WE LOVE OUR SPACE. A lot of people don’t get that. 🫠

I got INFP twice.

I took all the three tests... and I got:

- ENTJ (Commander)
- ENTJ (Commander)
- ENFJ (Protagonist)

which is pretty much what I always get from these kind of tests... the E, N and J sections have always matched because they seem to be very defined for me

the only one that would change from test to test would be the T and F... thinking vs feeling, and this is because I always get a balanced result that is close to 50/50... and yes that does make sense to me, because for the most part of my second half of life, that is something I've always looked for... to find a balance between my reasoning and my emotions... what I think and what I feel, I do think there's a time for both and to go with both and depending on the circumstances you could go with either...

and then my result will vary on each test... depending on the specific variables they use on their questions, I would switch to either side, lol

Reading about INFP is pretty startling how on the nose it is; to my dismay it makes my family/friends laugh when they read the strengths and weaknesses due to how true it is.

I took the paper version in 1999 for a business class in college. I wish I could remember what I got since the professor said to me "change now" when he saw my results and asked my major (I think it was accounting at the time).

No iedea to what extent the results are pertinent. I get three matches:
1) INTJ
2) INTP
3) ISTP (The Craftsperson)
Although the test indicates 1 and 2 being the best matches, it's 3 that according my feeling fits best how I see myself.

I am into cognitive functions and MBTI. A favorite topic of mine. I am INFJ. I wouldn't trust the 16Personalities site, I'd highly recommend researching each type and finding the cognitive functions and potential shadow functions (Jungian theory). Trust me, the answer will not be the same. The site combines MBTI and other theories and kind of ignores other factors in cognitive function typing.

When I was 16 and really depressed a psychologist typed me as infp. I guess that’s still accurate but I don't know I don’t feel like I fit into the crowd with most infps

I'm an INTJ, not that it means anything. The Myers-Briggs is completely made up. No science to it whatsoever. Even astrology has more credibility to it. But anyway, I've always been an INTJ.
