Swiss cheese, Swiss watches, Swiss army knives, Healthcare, attractive women and if I'm not mistaken sweeden is the country that there's different levels of drivers license for going on more dangerous roads and one of the tests you gotta drive on a drift pad or something.
Come to think of it, a lot of race car drivers are Swedish aren't they?

Region as in area, country is too broad, like my description would change some if I went to state level, and massively for the entire US. Groups of people have different values and customs just 30 miles away sometimes, much less 100, or 1000
Fair enough, "oh, the x festival which is only held here in Sweden... crap" lol I have heard at that high of northern latitudes that some places have summer fests when the sun doesn't set for more than a day during the solstice.
These days? Paradox. They've all but canceled Bloodlines 2, and I'm torn between thanking them (you can't make a decent World of Darkness game without a LOT more edge than they're willing to put in now) and chastising them (as the press coverage was fabulously entertaining in the worst possible way).

Americans don’t tend to get out much, and American schools don’t teach much about the rest of the world outside of how it relates to American interests. You can tell who makes most of the education decisions: big corporations! I’d be surprised if a majority of Americans have an opinion of Sweden unless their TV tells them to.

Gothenburg airport, I went to the bar and the Swedish female handball team was hanging around. All tall, blond women. I'm 5"7, so not short, but at that point I felt small and insignificant surrounded by these beautiful women. Normally, this is the first thing that comes to mind. The second thing is how much I loved Stockholm, the cleanliness and order, when people waited me to get off the train, unlike in London.

Hen, my former class mate & svensk pølseret. Sweedish sausage dish - for those that don't understand. Hen is the first thing that comes to mind after I watched a documentary about genderless kindergartens during my pædagog degree.
I think of Stockholm, the capital, which I visited a few years ago, and the ship Vasa, the largest naval ship in history that sank on its maiden voyage and can now be found in its own museum. And let's not forget about ABBA, the singing group.
I think of their kindness that is how I feel about them and I think about how many hours they are more than where I live in Pennsylvania America located in a small City called Monongahela Pennsylvania.

Sure it's not what Sweden is known for these days, but some of the forerunners in Eugenics were the Swedes. It's part of their darker history that they experimented on humans.

Nobody I know raised in America thinks anything bad about swedish people. What's not to like? The first thing that comes to mind is tall blonde women, meatballs, and cold weather

If I remember right they have: 1) free medical care 4 everyone (even if u're not from Sweden and u hurt yourself in Sweden) 2) best schools in the world
