Have you ever gotten drunk at a funeral?

Funerals always shoot up my nerves, so I end up getting drunk (er) than usual to prep myself for them.
Last time though I overdid it, and almost fell down the stairs during the ceremony and had to be propped up during the procession. What about you?

I have to show up, often it's mandatory for me.
I generally tend to drink at funerals and other sax/grave events.
I don't get drunk at happy events.

I once skipped a funeral on purpose, because while I had no problem with the deceased, I disliked his widow.
I just sent her a note.

I’ve only been to two funerals and they were both for the same person but in different countries, no alcohol, we ate at two restaurants for the first one days apart from each other and had a family reunion.
