Hi, so the last two weeks on Saturday, I went shopping at Kohl's. At the register, the lady managed to convince me to sign up for the Kohl's Rewards card BUT she never told me that it was going to be a credit card so now I'm stuck with a new credit card. I haven't recieved the activation card in my mailbox yet but when it does come should I cancel the card? I know I won't use it at all tbh but im scared that it'll hurt my credit card really bad. What should I do? Should I close the card as soon as I get the activation card or should I just keep it and never use it? If so, is it best to not use it for 6 months and let it deactivate by itself? Also I currently have a Discover and Paypal account and have been paying on time. Please advise!

That happened to me once lol it's best to always say no to any offer. They usually tend to give you a discount our free stuff but with a catch. So you don't have to use it if you don't want to but eventually you can get a different credit card to build your credit and the younger you are the better. I currently have 2 credit cards one I only used once. The other I use for big things like a TV I wanted to buy and I paid it off immediately. You should be okay if you don't want to use it
