What was the worst Nightmare/Night terror, you ever had?

... I can't figure out a few I have had of night terrors
I know not all dreams 'mean' something, It's just with these... I am sure it means something.
One night terror lasted many years and only got worse, then stopped 2020 or 2021. The other one was 2020, only once, last one was feb 2nd 2022, only once, that I am trying to figure out.

When the dream does mean something; what ever you dream, it can replace the person, or things, when really, it's someone else or some other things that is going on in our waking life or from past. There are many reasons if the dream 'Does' mean something. Of course.. some dreams don't mean anything.. except for just something we ate/did/watched, around the time before we dream. Even if while we're sleeping, our brain can pick up on what's going on around us and make a dream.

I just remembered that I had another one, march 17th.. can't figure it out. That irritates me so much not knowing why. I know the nightmare means something too because of how I am feeling all the time.

I had a terrible nightmare that my son was dead. He was in high school and I dreamed that my wife and i were crying and it was so terrible. I woke up and it actually took ne a couple of minutes to realize it was just a dream and it never really happened..

No, it was maybe 5 years after my father died. I really do not know exactly why I had that dream. Maybe because it is the worst thing I could imagine.

My sister used to abuse me by constantly beating me up. She's 5 years older than me. I used to have nightmares with her beating me up and stepping on belly I would wake up terrified 😨

Hmm i would say as a kid because today ill have weird dreams but they don't terroize me just makes me feel weird like damn lol but as a kid i had this dream of walking in this house and the door started to shake hard and it had a scream mask outside of it i froze and when i could finally moved i faced the window in the room that lead to the outside and i sae a face on fire in tue window. After that i woke up and thr next day the weirdest thing was when i went outside to check and play their was a a shoe outsidr the window as if someone was actually there? Weirdest thing ever i never forgot that it even creeped my mom out so she called my uncle who was a cop to come by and he thought it was strange and figured whoever it was didn't come back i& it never did happen again. I almost wonder if i was like sleep walking and maybe scared whoever it was away lol

I dreamed that the government with the aid of another countries soldiers. Go door to door grab guns. Kill the ones that resisted.

Then a year or two later they call Martial Law and start rounding up citizens and put them in FEMA camps

Then start killing millions of people.

Its so bad, that it would make Nazi Germany look like a hotel stay

I woke up so scared, that I pissed myself and my heart was pounding though my chest.

I usually wake up with a fast sit up, usually either yelling out, trying to breathe, crying, heart pounding, some sweating. It's just weird how we have these type dreams, when we are suppose to rest while we sleep. Mine are not from watching a movie, seeing the news.

The second night terror I had had killing in it... 2020. I never dreamnt about kills except the first one I had for many years but, nothing like that... dont really want to say here, then when it got worse I died. this third one this year... I am watching my night terror right in front of me, seeing everything, colors, hearing talking, etc. I just would like to know why

Not scary for me, but realistic. I murdered my mother and a bunch of others using a knife. I went full slasher on them and there was blood everywhere. At least nine other people were dead, and when the dream started, I had already killed the other nine. It was VERY realistic. Like a memory from an alternate reality.

I was sitting in a garden making something then my younger sister stabbed me in the back. I woke up screaming and crying at like 5:00 AM and my parents were so concerned lmao.

I mean it probably did come from something because my sister is quite violent so maybe I imagined her being violent in the most horrific way to me. I stared her down for some time after I had that dream.

From too many videogames I had nightmares where I was chasing by several tanks, me on foot, my village being bombarded and I couldn't do nothing.

It was only me, everyone was dead. And they were too many. It's good I didn't died on that nightmare.

i can't explain it but I get it every time I'm sick since I was twelve, I get this same nightmare, there is like a bunch of circles and then they close in on me and I start crying for some reason
