Why do teachers keep you behind?

I understand some teachers like students to get better grades but my friend gets good grades. We work as a 3 in science and every lesson we get kept behind for no reason even if we finish work. The teacher doesn't tell others to stay behind, doesn't check their work, doesn't ask them questions. The 3 of us arnt the only people with colored skin there's another girl but for some reasons it's just always the 3 of us and its making me curious on why this teacher is repetitively keeping us behind

Maybe your teachers trying to help you. I mean there has to be a reason. What does your teacher tell you or have you do?

Listen to your teacher and I doubt it’s a racial thing.

I do listen to my teacher I just find it weird how it's every lesson. I've had weird interactions with teachers one on one so before anything weird happens I just wanted some advice

I've got threatened in middle school by teachers

Ask the teacher about it and ideally together as a team but without being too confrontational. Just ask the teacher what you asked here.

Teachers will always answer with I wanna help u but in opposite they just wanna keep u behind for whatever reason but it gets creepy sometimes

Any time I was kept after school, I was always told why when the decision was made, not just as I was leaving for the day.
