Is it ok to sometimes be ashamed of what my own gender is doing?

Some men are jerks and obviously they deserved to be called out on bad behaviors but my gender isn't any better. I'm afraid the claims I've heard online can be true.

I didn't believe it until I heard and saw it myself, happening right in my face last week. I was speechless for several seconds and disgusted by that particular girl's behavior. I called her out on that and she thought it was not my business. Well I replied back that it is my business because her and other girls like her are ruining it for the rest of us, making the rest of us look bad, making it harder to get trusted, etc.

Is it ok to sometimes be ashamed of what my own gender is doing? I have no issues with calling out injustice, regardless of who it's coming from.

It is good to be ashamed of what bad people of your own gender do, and that goes for both sexes. But what we need (a lot) more of today is what you did last week, which is women calling out other women who do bad things. Because when men call out women they are just called misogynists and incels.

If a man is harassing or assaulting a woman and other men are nearby, they will rush to her defense. But if a woman is assaulting a man, other women typically do nothing, and in fact they look down on the man for not defending himself and "having a spine". But the bigger problem is how badly men and boys are treated by society and feminism today, and it is rare to see good women speak out and stand up against it. The ONLY way things will change for the better is if good women speak out and demand change, and there are precious few women who do. Men have no voice in the matter because, as I mentioned earlier, when they do speak out against it they are called incels and misogynists. Only women can change this, and apparently there are few few good women willing to do that. Thanks for being one of the few good ones.

agreed but with a slight addition. often enough when women do speak up/out they too get attacked in mass and often people try to cancel them. they get called "pick me" and "internal mysogonists" as some of the nicer things. but thankfully the numbers of good women speaking up are growing too. to those who read this and know about my mentiining being on tiktok more, this subject matter is what i initially brought me to be on that platform (mens rights) as i followed one such female advocate to there. due to that i have seen and interacted with a fair number of advocates there and every one of them stay fighting people trying to cancel them or otherwise silence them. in fact a months back one such good woman had another woman actually try swatting her but she was lucky that she knew many in her local police department.

I don't blame you for feeling ashamed of other women, but ultimately you can only control your own behavior. In this day and age women are largely protected from any criticism; so, if you do want to do any good, and possibly improve the types of behavior women regularly engage in, then you can call it out.

As a woman they can't retaliate by calling you an incel, as if nobody who calls out women's bad behavior could possibly get sex, and further than sex is the ultimate predictor of who is morally right in a situation: I have sex and you don't therefore I'm right (it's so stupid when you actually articulate it).

I'm upset that because of those idiotic radicals, they're making it hard for the rest of us to find a normal relationship without distrusts that leads to forming a family; something so natural and normal. Now it's like omg, pulling hairs at something so easy, what my great-grandparents, grandparents and parents had over the years.

all of the sudden are these abnormal ''relationships'' where people are going to the movies, having wild sex, and basically dating forever... no kids, no goals, no nothing: but pure garbage. A degeneration of everything, destruction of a simple nuclear family, something so simple got destroyed.

Men are afraid to lead, and women aren't following- the natural design of things has been destroyed and it's having dire consequences on EVERYONE. Men are single, alone, miserable, while a fraction are having excessive sex (including myself), before settling with one of the few remaining "good girls." Women on the other hand (aside from the handful who have chosen to go the right path) are getting run through as much as a prostitute did a generation ago, mentally ill, medicated, and eventually find themselves miserable, alone, in a job that offers no fulfillment, etc. Feminism and communism from which it arose is destroying society.

The issue is the few remaining good girls would want their equivalent too. Nowadays we don't get the sweet story of my great-grandparents or grandparents; both were each other's first. It wasn't just the girl being the good one that waited for him all along. He got the virgin when he was one himself too... unique love indeed; good woman with good man.

My great-grandma's diary (both passed away) and it was so beautiful, so rare love, pure, romantic, meaningful... both in love, the one of a kind thing. Both of them faithful till the very end. Nowadays that doesn't exist anymore. Seems like that became a unicorn.

Many societies sought to make young pairings so the couple could grow together, and experience sexuality as two fresh people. The default was always that the men of means/ prestige could get the virgins after they obtained a level of stability. How do we return to something that's in line with nature, but also permits a stronger bond to form so neither feels cheated?

yes and back then it didn't take until their mid 30's to obtain stability. Long ago, even when he was 24 years old, he was already a man, already a father of 2 kids.
Great-grandfather was a father when he was just 22, then had grandma at age 24 and their last child at age 25.
I think the only change would be for people to stop being greedy. Greed is a bad trait in a person that makes selfish people, makes them think the got power over anyone.

This basically. I don't like them. They are making it harder for the rest of us to find good men that want commitment. They've created fearful, anti-commitment men and the break of a normal, nuclear family. They're doing us a disservice. I wish I could put stop to their nonsense.

That's not your gender; that's a specific individual who shares your gender. Women aren't unreasoning wild beasts; they can think and act rationally, regardless of how many choose not to. Personal awfulness isn't contingent on demographic traits.

It is fine and totally understandable. Far too many people now have very bad morals and it does seem difficult to find a good person because of that.

I'm glad you feel the same. When I called her out on her BS, she thought I was ungrateful going against my gender. She was the type of girl that expects me and other women to agree with everything they do just for being women. That is the type of girls I hate.
