What are your good or bad bus/taxi/train/plane experiences?

I hated riding the school bus. We often had to sit 3 to a seat, some guy was always trying to make a move, and their were bullies. I haven't been in a taxi but i tried uber while in NC and took crazy advantage of it. It was really amazing and inexpensive. I took a train while in NC. Monorails/trams go too fast and throw standing passengers back on those seated. As for Amtraks, it was just horribly bumpy and made me feel motion sickness. Planes are okay but i hate how it feels during takeoff as well as when my ears pop even if i chew something

Some time in the mid-80s when I was maybe 30, a friend and I decided on the spur of the moment to fly somewhere for the weekend - leave Friday night and come back on Sunday. We talked to the airline and the least expensive place that sounded fun was St. Louis.

So we booked the red eye flight. The plane wasn't full. The flight attendant was really nice to us for some reason. We're both tall guys. So, at some point, once we were in the air, she quietly invited us to go up and sit in business class.
