I Returned a package, had it scanned but no “dropped off” update appeared on status. Now they ‘never saw it’ tho I have receipt - who do I talk to?

I dropped off a package at staples a few weeks ago. There were two separate packages. Both were scanned, I have the receipt.

One was refunded immediately which is odd bc refunds take up to two months now. But I wasn’t complaining.

The other was not refunded but to me that was not odd bc different items return faster for some reason.

what DID bother me was it was over a week and there was still no “dropped off” on the status page. I didn’t expect a return for maybe a month or two but why did it not register the fact I dropped it off and it was scanned.

I spoke with a rep. Fiesta they said wait two months it takes time. I said I’m not concerned about that I want to know why there is no status saying it was dropped off.

I had receipt showing it had been scanned so we continued on for some time while they were looking for it but still, never would touch on the question, WHY DOES IT NOT SAY DROPPED OFF. Whether you have it or not, I’m asking why there is no status update reflecting reality.

We went back and forth for a while until lo and behold they miraculously found it and in getting a refund in 7 days.

I still hates to know why it did not register had what was the mix up about. But they wouldn’t say & I thought maybe they’ll get in trouble I don't know so I thought, we’ll im getting a refund, I’ll just accept that.

10 days past. No refund. No indication it was “dropped off” I don’t mind the money didn’t coke immediately bc maybe the 7 days would be after two months. I’m buttered that it still hasn’t been updated. Bc they can weasel out of admitting stuff if things are not clear.

And sure enough. Today i spoke with a rep. ”we did not receive your item. It’s been over 14 days we can not help you. It was hit scanned. Contact UPS”


1 I HAVE A RECEIPT. It was scanned.

2. WHY was I roof hurt received it if it was nit even scanned.

3. how can you refuse to assist people after 14 days when you tell people to wait 2 months before there is a reason for concern?

Amazon notoriously leaves the status page blank and then a month or so later, you get a refund and it’s been “dropped off and on its way back & received “ all in one shot. The _only_ reason I thought to ask this time is bc one package had immediately shown the update , the other did not. Normally if there’s no update, they just say wait two months for refund. No one ever answers why it’s blank.

Anyhow this guy kept responding Like a machine. Nothing to do with my Q and info. Do if he’s real.
