So I have known where this abandoned gold mine is up in the mountains for the last 28 years or so. According to a geological survey done in the mine back during the 50's, there is almost half a billion dollars worth of gold in it. I would need at least a couple million dollars to get the mine going again, but can't bring in a bunch of investors and equipment because it's a mile from the nearest road and in the middle of a national forest. This would be an illegal mining operation to say the least. I would only need a few thousand to get about a million dollars worth of the gold though, and I have it. I never went after the gold when I was younger because the chances of death from a cave in or fall down a mineshaft are pretty high. Now that I'm getting older I'm thinking about it more because I don't have a wife and kids, all my family is dead except my brother, and I need some money to retire by my 60's. What do you guys think? Here's a video of another old mine on the other side of the mountains and this is pretty much what I'll be dealing with, but even more sketchy looking and dangerous 🧐👉💰👉 🤑👉🤡👉🏔️👉☠️
Knowledge on mining is pretty widely available. Go watch some Jeff Williams videos if you need some place to start...

I wouldn't risk my life. If I got the gold and then died, what would be the point of going there?
I mean, I understand why you're considering going there now but I think your life is more valuable than gold.
That doesn't sound like 50% chance so maybe. If it's actually 50% chance like a bomb beneath one of two buttons then no.

Yeah. I am tired and bored of being broke and not doing anything fun because of being broke, so might as well go for it.
Yes, I have cheated death for a lot less.
