Does your brain automatically associate certain numbers with a color?

It's almost subconcious, but here's how it works in my mind:

0 - clear or white

1 - black

2 - light blue

3 - dark blue

4 - green, teal, or brown

5 - maroon, purple, fuchsia, magenta

6 - green or teal

7 - yellow or gold

8 - red, various shades

9 - orange

1950s - every year is fuchsia

1960s - every year is green

1970s - every year is yellow

1980s - every year is red

1990 - white

1991 - yellow, orange, or black

1992 - yellow, orange, and light blue

1993 - gold and black

1994 - gold

1995 - gold

1996 - gold and green

1997 - gold and yellow

1998 - gold, orange, and red

1999 - orange

2000 - faded light blue

2001 - faded light blue

2002 - teal and light blue

2003 - dark blue

2004 - dark green and brown

2005 - fuchsia

2006 - teal and green

2007 - yellow

2008 - red

2009 - orange

2010 - clear

2011 - light blue

2012 - less faded light blue

2013 - yellow and dark blue

2014 - brown

2015 - maroon

2016 - treal

2017 - gold

2018 - gold and some red

2019 - gold and orange

2020 - black and light blue

2021 - stronger blue and some black

2022 - blue

2023 - blue and some black

What do colors and years look like to you?

Not to the degree that your brain does.. that’s impressive! The only numbers that my mind associates with colours are,
1 - white
2 - crimson red
3 - pastel orange
4 - sky blue
5 - dark pink
6 - gold yellow
7 - lime green
8 - black
9 - dirt brown

1 white not black.

you were off by one. 1 white

2 not 3, dark blue

3 not 4 - green, ( not teal, or brown see 6)

4 not 5 - maroon, purple, , magenta

5 brown not 4 but close! and same sequence order.

6 not same as 4!

Probably more influenced by advertising trends subconsciously. Take the 2000s: all the white writing of "Y2K" everywhere.
2001 - uninspired and uninspiring year.
2002 - the rise of J-horror, especially The Ring.
2003 - Gothic cinema. Underworld. Daredevil. Evanescence. Dark Angel on TV.
2004 - A lot of gardening stuff
2005 - The Sims 2: Nightlife
2006 - Rainy days at MSU. Including one of the most fun days of my life, with a Korean woman I liked.
2007 - 300. Everything stained that urine jar yellow. Lots of poorly color balanced YouTube videos.
2008 - Not sure. 8 is red. It just is.
2009 - I watched way too many syndicated reruns of CSI: Miami
