Do you rent a hotel room if your power goes out or tuff it out?

I always tough it out. We've had the power out for a week in the middle of a blizzard and been fine. Just pretend I'm an old fashioned wifey from pre-electricity days. Stoke the fire, use the gas stove, etc. Why waste money renting a room when I can invest that money and do a little more work?

When I was growing up, sometimes we would go to a hotel for the night if my parents could afford it, but then there was one time when we went a whole week without electricity. It was shit, but we made it work and it certainly prepared me for whenever I would have to go without power again in the future.
So, I stick it out. Plus, I have other forms of technology to help keep me entertained that I didn't have when I was a kid. 😋

Tough it out. The last time I went to the movies was because we had a power failure and I was looking for a warm plaace to hang out.

Depends on the month. No issues renting a place for a few nights but if weather is nice, light some candles and enjoy the vibe

It's not freezing cold here in the winter and the power is never down for more than half a day. The last time I remember the power going out all night was during a big storm in the early 80's

It would depend on the ETA of the power being restored. So far I never have.
