How do you adapt to weather you don't like?

@elena_stewart I have a tip for you! I get dressed up and drive to Pelican Hill Resort, wear nice clothes and sit in the Coliseum, overlooking the huge pool. Nobody else is here, and I have the place to my self. OR go to South Coast Plaza and go inside and enjoy an empty Mall and get coffee at Starbucks and relax.
Doesn't get any better than that!!!
Wow, these are awesome places! Will definitely go there. Thank youš
sweltering hellish Texas' summers... I just cry a little bit in the inside, and carry on with my day, lol...
Oh my goodness, thatās hilariousšš
lmao... I would trade the weather with you, any day of the week... lol
I just need the sun āļøāļøāļøwith like 60-80F thatās allš„¹š„¹
But above 90F no thank uš
š
actually... that's our usual winter nowadays, anywhere from 60 to 80 for most days
This is perfect with the precious sun, but I don't think I could bare summer thereš
one of my long term plans is to move Up North...
CA is the perfect weather
San Diego?
I don't know, never been there I live near San Fran
But, San Diego is cheaper for sure
football fan? or no chance...
You mean if I am a football fan?
yes, lol... or pay any attention to it
Nil, zero chancešš
Know nothing
lmao... no Super Bowl fun for you?
what about BBQ's are you a fan of those?
But, I usually watch the final sometimes, like once or twice in my lifešš
I love BBQ. I am one of the best to make steak.
oh... now we're talking...
šš»šš»
what about tacos?
Iāve tried a few times, I would say 50/50š¬
I'll make you a 100/100 believer... lol
Awesome, so you are professional taco maker thenšš
semi-pro... definitely
Send me the recipe then, let me try chefšØāš³
what kind of steak do you like?
So, the recipe is a secret, you donāt want to shareš
I like every type
there is no actual secret to tacos... you just need a great knife, the best actual tortilla you can get... and the filling will be the best food you already like, lol...
but yes... Tacos al Pastor might be the best kind of taco... arguably, though
I don't know watch some cinematic clips of people in the rain embracing it like that kiss in The Notebook. It'll at least make the weather seem mote aesthetic 🙃
Yeahš
I try not to go out :D this way, I don't really see the weather, and at home, it's warm and cozy :D

Yeah, those cloudy days are bummers.
I have plenty of chores to do both outside and inside. I just switch work lists to match the weather. But, even inside jobs seem to go easier if there is some sun! Finally a break in weather by us (midwest), so getting a chance to assess winter damage in yard, walk the dog a bit more, etc. But, I still have drapes in three rooms to hem up and just got through with a long project at the church shuffling and sorting DVDs from the AV room to the Library there, so I have a case of latent cabin fever. (The smaller AV room is to be an additional office, but neither room has windows- they are inside rooms. Ugh.)
Thats a good question. I live in a region where we get to experience blistering dry heat and arctic hellscape and everything in between.
Attitude has a lot to do with it. Find a hobby or activity suited to each weather type and fully delve into it when that weather rolls around
I don't. Every single bloody day it rains in England. Day after day after day for about 9 months of the year. Can't adapt to that shit.
I would be depressedš³
Here it is early February and it is sunny and in the mid 70ās today. I could lay out and get a tan if I wasnāt workingā¦.
Lucky youšš»šš»
Just dress for it.
We go out in any kind of weather from 20 below zero to Temps in the 100s.
Rain, sleet blizzards, snow, gale force winds and a nice sunny day
If it looks like rain, I carry an umbrella and/or, in cold weather, I wear a coat when I go outside.
have the right clothes for all weather like that girl in the picture 🤷āāļø
Shanghai has freezing cold January, I just wear warm clothes.
At home itās pretty warm, outside though itās freezing š„¶
Having Been Born Upstate, New York and Lived Off and On-----I Had to. lolxxoo
Wear the appropriate clothing and hope for better weather soon.
Itās been like that all two weeks here, but thereās not much you can do about it except where are the right type of clothes and know that itās not always going to be that way
Sit inside within point-blank range of my 10,000 BTU AC unit.
I embrace cold weather and I love it when it comes and I canāt get enough of it. I want it to hang around and stick around for a very long time
@elena_stewart
i get used to any weather
Rain gives me much energy.
Have movie marathons lol
