Do you sometimes feel lonely on holidays?

Question

I don’t have the reason to feel so, because today and tomorrow my coworker invited me on a dinner, I did not feel like going today, I’ll go tomorrow, it’s his last day in China and he flies the day after tomorrow.

But now that I stayed home, I feel a bit lonely, which happens quite rarely…

Because I have been staying home for the last 2.5 months and very rarely had I felt lonely.

But it’s the Chinese New Year and I had a great time the last two days and today is a bit more peaceful. Which makes me feel strange.

Might be the music I am listening. Should open something happier.

Over the years I love my own company than anyone else's.
Tha calm that I get spending time with myself is beyond satisfactory. Yeah I do have a a good time with others. But after a point it gets draining. For me, people love it as long as you're playing their game, doing stuff what they like, saying things what they wanna hear. So, that's not a healthy relation.
It's actually fun when you could be yourself freely and that I get when I'm with myself.
I find it liberating than being lonely to spend time with myself. The way I look at it is as a blessing.

The thing is, I love to spend time by myself. I don't feel lonely on holidays or normal days. We are different and enjoy different things. Maybe change the music to something more energetic and call a friend or your brother.

Nope, I often go away on my own, as usually I’m with a group of guys 24/7 and it’s great to get a break from everyone. I love sitting in a cafe or bar on my own, with a drink and let the world pass me by. I will chat to people but usually prefer having a do not disturb look to keep people away.

Nope. I feel lonely regardless of day. It's especially bad when someone I'm talking to will mention their girlfriend or wife. It's even worse when I see families or couples. I hate the fact I wasn't good enough for anyone and that I ruined my life with one decision.

No I don't I spend most of them with family, now Valentine's Day I don't recognize that as a holiday honestly so even though I'm alone on it I don't feel alone.

I also felt loneliness. My mind is my own, but my thoughts don't convey. My words go but my friends don't understand. My vision for the future is undone even though I have to work hard for it.
