How much effort would you put into a FWB?

I've been seeing someone for a while now but we don't call each other boyfriend or girlfriend. I would like to. He works A LOT and travels for work but texts me all most everyday and sometimes we have text convos that last all day. When he can he wants to hook up. I told him I date for a reason and he said he knows and he keeps trying hard to get me to meet you with him but he won't call me his girlfriend. Am I just a FWB? WOuld you do all that texting and deal with our busy schedules that only allow us to get together once in a while if you only wanted sex?

I wouldn't text that much if I only wanted sex, maybe a few times a day but not all day. Does he talk about doing things with you months or years down the road like vacations, concerts, or other events? Does he remember things you tell him about yourself weeks later? Does he ask you about your family and individual family members very often? I do those things if I really like a chick

depends on how desperate for sex he is. friends with benefits is JUST sex. if you want a relationship SAY YOU WANT one.

wait you said you date for a reason -what reason is that. did you tell him what it is, if you are dating only for a relationship, and he wants fwb, then why the hell are you with him. did you ASK him what he wants ?

the drop him, if you know what you want& he says he does not know, he is playing games with you or you're playing games with yourself, he does not have what you want, don't settle.
