Who would win, Lion or Tiger?

Assuming they were both at their respective physical peaks. Which species comes out on top more often than not?

I know that tigers are infact bigger and known to be quicker. But I've never seen actual footage, as these two beasts live in completely different continents/habitats. Googling doesn't seem to help me much either, some say Tiger, some say Lion. Does anyone know of footage or documented encounters featuring them both? Or even have an in-depth analysis of why either one would win other than "Tiger is the bigger animal, therefore it wins". Thanks.

Tigers have more muscle mass.

Male Lions are distinctive by their manes.

Tigers and Lions have almost the same speed ability but Tigers are a little slower.

Both have strong jaws

Tigers are taller generally.

lion if it has tick enough mane, that is like an armor and with the saggy skin underneath penetrating a lions neck is very hard even for bears and tigers

also lions are the feline with most stamina due to being track hunters who chases their prey while tigers are the feline with least amount of stamina due to it's big size (they are ambush predators like most felines but none of them is as big as tiger)

and also tigers likemost solitary hunters doesn't wanna fight if they can help it instinctually while lions like most social hunters does not afraid of fight till death instinctually even if it is 1 vs 1 and has no one else to help him, they are the big cats who engages in fights most among all felines

if the lion has thick enough mane the fight goes like this, tiger will have the upper hand at first but it wouldn't be able to kill the lion quickly and either will get tired while the lion is still prefectly capable of continue the fight or will throw the towel and give up

so it is completely depends on the lion, if it is a lesserlion tiger wins no doubt, if it is a strong male lion can win after a tough battle

yes tiger is stronger but strenght is not everything, if it was bears are much stronger than tigers but tigers do win against them occasionally.

lions live to fight others stronger and outnumbered

tigers live to kill prey and avoid one-on-one fighting... not that they don't have them but they avoid others... Lions seek for battle

so, this is basically... a fight between the gym bro who trains for volume, versus the MMA fighter that trains, lives and dies for survival

I think the tiger is bigger stronger. Maybe the Lion is more intimidating throwing off the tiger, I don't know.

It seems the Tiger wins. Tigers are bigger, stronger, a bit more faster, and more ferocious than Lions.. Even though they are both Apex predators.. The Tiger has the edge.. As you can see in the video.. The Tiger got jumped and still won.. 😂😂😂.. And that wasn't even a male..
