Am I an ass hole for being honest or is this cruel?

My mothers cousin was a teen mom with her druggie ex. A women with no accomplishments except beauty. it turned abusive and she divorced him.

Sje moved abroad and in no time got married to a much younger guy and has another kid.
The problem is her first kid is not good enough to pass any normal school exams as her bar is too low. She can’t attend decent school since she lacks discipline. Moreover the child stays with the druggie. The mother paid no heed to ensure child gets good education or secure home. Now the teen mom is expecting my mother to prepare her child lunch and we get no money but complaints for this. Also the girl in question is a troubled teen who has created issues like encouraging students to bunk the school and so on.

It must be the child’s parents or grandparents that should provide lunch for her. Their laziness can’t be our responsibility. I criticised my mother for over exerting herself and the teen moms selfish and irresponsible act. Moreover I never want to be associated to a family that is noisy and judgmental of hard working women while applauding teen moms and good looking people.

We ran into an argument over this. Am i an asshole or cruel since I hate the idea of my parents providing her lunch?

I think the solution to this problem would be to send this teenager to a troubled youth house and have them pack the meals for the kids and assist her as a parent in assuring her kids receive adequate education. If you look at the city websites, they usually will have something for these people. I'm not going to say you're an asshole but the message seems to me that you've perhaps had been very judgmental towards her and thus she in turn behaves the same.
