How do you feel about women who choose to dress super sexy on Halloween?

It's that time again where women are going to dawn the skimpiest outfits ever to go out clubbing or partying on Halloween. Many see it as harmless and a way to just be free and others see it as the coming of the anti-Christ.

I've worn a TON of Halloween costumes because of where I used to work, but never worn a skimpy Halloween costume. I have always been "the weird girl," who legit came as an actual table one year, or who came in my own homemade Squidward costume. My attitude on other women though is do you, dress how you want, not here to tell you what to do...too many people trying to do that right now anyway.

Your thoughts? Harmless stupid fun or do you clutch your pearls in moral outrage?

No moral outrage here. If a woman wants to use that one night of the year to release some suppressed inner persona, get out of the confines of school/work/everyday life, and strut her stuff within the context of whimsical fantasy, I'm all for it. It's fun. It doesn't make her a slut. It's just playful.

What's wrong with a woman getting out of her shell and celebrating her sexy alter ego in a costume on a night where costumes are expected?

I've been to renaissance fairs where some women wear corsets that accentuate their hips, make their boobs bulge and barely cover their nipples. And what about celebrations like Carnival? Even beach wear is super revealing.
Also, women sometimes wear sexy cosplay outfits for their partners in private.

There's nothing wrong with that.

What gets me are high school girls. Some friends of ours used to live on a street where all the people decorated their houses for Halloween. It got hundreds of trick or treaters. The young kids were adorable. But later in the evening, the teens would start showing up. Some of those high school girls were so proud of their newly blossomed female bodies and would wear costumes that made your eyes pop out. I doubt if their parents knew what they were wearing. But they were just having fun, trying to look grown up and impress the boys.

One year, my wife dressed as a cat. She's a hair and makeup artist and did an amazing job with her face. I made her some really good cat ears. She wore a tight, black leotard with sleeves, yoga pants, and even had a tail. She looked sexy af. She doesn't usually wear revealing clothes, but had fun being a sexy, slinky cat on Halloween.
Another time, she dressed as a cute, sexy witch and looked hot.

So I see nothing wrong with going out in public once a year and being sexy. Again, Halloween is the one night when women have an excuse to cosplay in public for sheer fun.

I really think you need to go back to the beginning of the bible, remember where God , creates the Universe and then creates life and ultimately produces mankind all for the one moment in time when he tells A and E what His purpose is for them. Imaging the hurt on God's face. when he searches for them in the garden and finds them hiding the one thing that he is most proud of. "Their beautiful nude bodies". Remember , when he visited them in the garden He wore nothing. So they get asked to leave. But I have heard Pentecostals say "He is the same , Yesterday Today and Forever. So, his purpose has never changed What has changed is us. The very thing that He reveled in "Our beautiful bodies" and "our ability to Create new life". we now view as Sin. We have invented terms to reflect our abhorrence of His prized creation. "Indecent exposure" and" illegitimate Child", both terms we use to indicate a derogatory condition, do not exist in His eyes. Nothing He created is indecent. Nothing He created is illegitimate.

Now on to the Halloween, certainly a celebration of the dead, Something we are told not to participate in. Necromancy?, But Catholicism did bring it into existence as All Hallows Eve to follow All Saints Day. Scantily Clad people? Crosby Still and Nash sang We've Got To Get Ourselves Back To The Garden. So, are these Scantily Clad Folks trying to sanctify a holiday based on something that God told us not to do. Refocus?

LOVE the table! I think weird and fun costumes are the best. But, I don't know I think it goes back to that Mean Girls quote:

"In girl world, Halloween is the one day a year when a girl can dress up like a total slut and no other girls can say anything else about it"

Considering that women and girls are dressing like that ALL the time these days, a sexy costume is just another thing they're putting on. Everyday I see midriffs, camel toe and arse cracks sticking out of their tight yoga pants, and tops that barely cover their chests et cetera.

Sexy costumes actually had an effect back in the 90s or early 2000s when I was in school because girls were more covered up the rest of the year.

I'm not into it now and wasn't into it back then either but my point still stands.

No moral outrage. It's one of the few times to dress outrageously or creatively. It's the "naughty" costume time for adults at parties. If you have the bod, go for what you can pull off.
