
A "first world problem" is an informal term for a relatively minor, trivial, or everyday annoyance experienced by people in affluent or privileged circumstances. It is used to contrast these minor inconveniences with the much more severe, life-threatening issues (like poverty, starvation, or lack of clean water) faced in developing parts of the world.
