It depends on the car and the coil design. Cars used to have a single ignition coil and a "Distributor". Most new cars today have moved to tiny individual coils that sit atop the individual spark plug they supply spark to. So 4, 6, or 8 per engine. The older ignition coils were more robust and could last the life of the engine. You replaced them if they failed. The newer coils as pictured in this question are tiny and probably designed to be replaced with the spark plugs which is commonly about every 100,000 miles on fuel injected engines using platinum tipped spark plugs. They are cheap. Better safe than sorry.
Plugs about every 75k miles. Coils... when they go bad.
You replace coils in case they are defective. You replace spark plugs in certain intervals depending on spark plug model. Those coils can last forever without performance deficits, at least longer than a car.
I have a brand new car every three years, so thankfully, and hopefully I should never encounter this issue.

I had my last vehicle 12 years & never replaced them.
They usually don't fail until around 100,000 miles on most cars...
I have no idea. Maybe when the time comes for routine maintenance?
Replace them when they fail. There is no set interval
never. i wouldn't do it if i could
No more than once a year.
A stealership told you that? ๐
Less than replacing the car itself.
Every month 😂
