In the 1970s, this clock radio was reportedly on "everyone's" nightstand.

Did you have one? Maybe you still have one?

I had this model in the 1980s. It woke me up every weekday morning, playing a local radio station; I often used its Snooze button.

I never had that one, but i’ve definitely come across similar models many times over many years. It was pretty common in hotel rooms too. My first ever alarm clock was the digital one where the numbers were on flipping tiles. When that died, i got a “Baby Ben” wind up alarm clock and used those exclusively for years. I got the alarm clock i have now when i was working two jobs because it has two alarm settings. I occasionally forgot to change the alarm setting on the other ones and would be late or miss shifts entirely.

Believe it or not, my parents still have and use a very similar one (Morphy Richards) in their bedroom!

We have one. It belonged to my husband’s grandfather, he’s pretty attached to it.

Now I just use my phone, if I decide to set the alarm, I usually wake up when I set my mind to the night before.
