Would be interesting to know your reasons. I use psychedelics, and I feel they've aided me in becoming a more compassionate, wiser and generally milder person. They've given me the opportunity to face my own mortality, my darker sides and my karma, so to speak.
If you take psychedelics to mean "bad drugs that cause addiction and mayhem", I agree with you, I don't want any part of that.
However, psychedelics generally cause the opposite. They are anti-addictive, they allow for no such thing as escapism, and they are in many way the opposite of both the common legal and illegal drugs.
I wouldn't want to date someone who judges me based on prejudice and bad science, rather than what I do, say and project.
I don't want the drugs to join my personal life,I don't want my life to turn into hell,I don't want my guy to be A drug user, buys drugs, uses it and then kill himself Or ends up abusive or violent,I want to be happy not suffer watching my guy harming himself,I don't want to be ashamed of talking about my guy around my family,I want my guy to be clean good guy,I simply don't want to destroy my life.
No, you don't understand... That's ascribed to *recreational* drug use, not ritual drug use. Ritual drug use, nomatter what you think of the substance itself, is always put towards some positive end - generally a level of knowledge. It doesn't change the person in any negative way, not by its own strength. As I said, usually used in religious ceremony, like shamanism and so on. It's a wholly different thing and usually a cultural thing.
Why do I use them? Well, not for the reasons I'm talking about for the ritual drug users. I don't really know, it's not something I ever really had to justify to myself. It's just something I enjoy doing, I like the way it affects me, I like watching myself behave in different ways and feel my mind take on different states. That's something very appealing to me.
ISNT DRUGS ? Doesnt it change your mood? Doesnt it make you Feel HAPPY? You said it yourself You like the feeling! I don't want to be with a guy who enjoys drugs, needs It to be happy and is weak. Too me Weak people use drugs.
One day when he feels so much stressed he will use it more and be addicted to it.
NOW,Tell me that you can stop it? Can you stay a year clean? without using any kind of drugs?
Im not hating on you I'm just telling you my own opinion.
Yes, I like the feeling. What's wrong with you? Anyway, yes, I have been over a year without drugs at the time. I'm not a regular user of anything, I'm never a regular user of anything. I don't think knowing wether you can stay clean for a year or so is instrumental into knwoing you're not addicted, though. I don't *want* to stop it, and if I ever do want to stop, genuinely want to, I will. And anyway, they don't make me happy, they have a myriad of effects, none of them are 'happiness'.
What?you joking Me? you can be addicted to anything ._."! so You say it is impossible for a person to be addicted to antidepressants? WEAK minded people Do a research on something and find "it is dangerous" And then they go try it lol it is like there is a deep hole somewhere and someone sees "danger, there is a hole" sign THEN they go throw themselves in it lol. And yea, weak, that is the truth,You don't need a drug to get rid of your depression and bad mood, antidep isn't something necessary. And drugs isn't a fun thing to TRY.
He goes* QA = lol, sorry if I offended you. You said that you take it like once a month or Twice so I asked you if you can stay without it for like a year at least! I wonder what are those other affects ? I'm curious.
Oh no, I'm not talking about me here, I take them to much less a frequency. Once every few months, really. I don't do anything very often. And yeah, as I said I've had gaps of over a year with no drug use. Annd, the effects are generally... Well, with pills, as I said, uppers and downers - uppers get you all het up and excited, you start talking and talking and you can't control your words, you get all sort of party-orientated. And downers have the opposite effect, they relax you, both-
physically and mentally. A lot of downers just put you to sleep, ahaha. They make everything seem really heavy and slow. Drugs like marijuana add a level of depth to everything, unveil a new flavour to textures and sounds and tastes that you don't experience on an ordinary level, and open the floodgates to knew kinds of thoughts.
Psychedelic drugs, though, they're the bigtime. To describe to you all of the effects of them would take novels
They give you hallucinations, visual and auditory, make you see strange and outlandish things, some of them give you funny and intense sensations all through your body, like your being pulled or lifted somewhere, some make you totally forget your even human, some last up to three days, some last just five minutes. They're crazy and strange, whole other worlds. As I said, they've been used for centuries by diviners and things, because they give you access to total other worlds
You see? What is so fun about this? That is why I say no. A man used drugs,he one day saw his baby as an animal he hates,he killed the baby, that's a true story.
I don't want my guy to kill me in my sleep 1day too. I still want to live lol.
[Rolls eyes] Yes, people can do things like that, but only if they're irresponsible enough to use hallucenogenic drugs around a small child. There's a whole textbook of precautions that is religiously followed for potentially dangerous drugs. I always say it, it's never the drugs, always the people.
A common misconception is that drugs make people go crazy and violent. It's just not true except for alcohol which is legal lol. Salvia though is intense and people can lose control that's why a sitter is recommended.
I said psychedelics aren't addictive, not anti-depressants. People will argue you COULD get addicted to anything, but even if you feel you're addicted to a psychedelic, your body isn't really, it's only in your head, unlike something like alcohol, which actually is addictive for your body.
So depressed people don't 'need' anti-depressants? They should just get over it? That's easy for you to say when you're not plagued with it. It's a chemical imbalance that you're born with. Narrow-minded.
Well, feeble-minded, psychedelics Can Be PHYSICALLY ADDICTIVE,you can end up depended on it.
Yes,people don't need antidep, you can get rid of depression without antidep, many doctors don't advice directly their patients to use antidep unless they asked for it,They can get rid of depression by so many other ways, they don't need an antidep, they may get addicted to it.
Psychadellics arnt addictive you can't even take them a second time in a week and trip again nomatter how much you take. They also dont get you high like weed or alchohol does with pleasure. they deconstruct your sense of society and cause this interconnected religous like feeling. Nobody has ever beleived psycadellics be physically addictive. Psycadellics dont give you pleasure the way alcohol weed and nicotine do and most people who try psychadellics dont enjoy them because of how it kills your ego and makes you wonder about god and shit instead getting high like weed smokers and drinkers like. Shrooms also proven to be helpful in stopping addictions to other drugs like Opioids and alchohols. Microdosing as a way to be more intelligent only dangerouse use of psycadellic and that again doesn't get you high like weed and alchohol do

Depends on how often he was using them
definitely not. I wouldn't even consider it
Expand on why?

Prime example of not distinguishing between drugs. Psychedelics are not addictive.
A drug constitutes as any chemical you put in your body to change the way it naturally acts. Are people who need antidepressants 'weak'?
People who refuse to LEARN anything about drugs before judging them have a weak mind in my opinion.

Psychedelics can most certainly not be physically addictive. What is your source for that information?

Why not?
Good question, Asker :)
