My boy does coke occasionally, should I leave him?

Hi,

My boyfriend does occasional coke, maybe one a month or one a couple months, it varies. Should I should leave? Our relationships are up and down, but we always work it out. He not a horrible guy, hard working and is always trying. I don't know if this "occasional" will later be a huge problem? He said he will stop or is trying to. I didn't ask him or force him (say he quit or try to), the only thing I asked of him was is honesty, he knows I'm not into drug or thrill about it but I'm not going to judge. My concern is this a horrible thing that will be really bad, Thoughts?

Honestly if it keeps going on--do to my life experiences--he will get worse in the future. Not only will coke not be enough to there is the o'mighty drug heroin. But people who do hard drugs will either end up being very angry, a danger to you and himself, and in most cases cheating cause they just don't give a f***k

Thanks everyone for the comments. They all helped, he understands how I feel, I told him if and when it start effecting my life badly, I'm done.

I agree with sixstring...it's recreationally now, but watch for signs of him using it more often. If you do notice he starts to hit it more, you could always talk to him about it and let him know you're concerned he may be becoming dependent on it...if it even gets to that point.

You should recommend he gets into counseling. If you want this relationship to lead to marriage and children, he must quit. You should love and support him when he tries to clean up, but if it becomes a big problem in the relationship, then yes, you should leave.

Using coke this occasionally is still recreationally. It's perfectly possible to hit coke that little and not get addicted.

It's if he starts using more, when you should get worried.
