Bullsh*t. Girls don't change.. they're all the same. They are attracted to physically attractive males for starts. It's always a bonus to women when we have good muscle build. Women always will be talking about the next "hot" actor, guy at gym, music artist, guy at school or college, etc.
Here's a scenario of two girls talking which I always hear. "Hey here's a pic of this guy I'm talking to isn't he cute?" "Holy Hot! Damn he's got a nice body."
Girls won't ever mention to men or in person how they want a guy with nice pecs and arms, abs, back, shoulders, etc. little girls or younger girls in their teen might say that but as they get older they realize that commenting on bodies is not subtle or modest. Guys comment on girls hot bods all the time out loud or whatever.. girls don't want to do this because they get judged for it. It's not classy for a women to talk about how hot they think a guy physique-wise according to society.
Not all girls are the same though.. some will be completely fine with speaking their mind.
At the end of the day yes, girls want a charming man who is confident, driven, successful, caring, makes his way through life.. having a nice physique is BIG bonus points.. they just won't ever tell you that to keep themselves from appearing like a horndog. Trust me.

10- Sharply shaped shoulders
Of the 100 women surveyed, a vast majority had a lot to say about shoulders. They like it when a man has well-defined, broad shoulders because they're a sign of strength and masculinity.
One woman wrote, "I love when a man moves his shoulders and you're able to see the (muscle) definition." Another gal added, "Running my fingers across broad, lean ones excites me immeasurably. That's why I love giving my boyfriend massages in this area." So it's time to get to work at the gym, and as the list goes on, you'll quickly come to the same realization yourself.
9- Chiseled chest
All men love a nice pair of breasts -- real or fake. As long as they look good, we're not complaining. Well, women have the same requirements (minus that whole fake thing though).
Perfect pecs are part of the whole image women have conjured up in their fantasy-filled daydreams. Most ladies said that they like being able to envision what a man's chest looks like under his clothes. The way a sweater or chemise falls on a man's body, they profess, reveals a lot about what's under there.

I do not like skinny guys, but at the same time I'm not obsessed with a Ronnie Coleman size build.
Personally, I go to the gym probably 5 days a week. I am my happiest at the gym and I feel my best after a good draining workout...so that's the main reason I go so regularly. I could care less if guys think that it's a good use of my time, etc. So I imagine that's how most body builder type guys feel too. They have to love the sport of it or they wouldn't be dedicated enough to get to the size they are. I have gotten a lot more respect for body builders and guys who work out regularly because when I was younger I was one of those "huge muscles are a turn off" girls. But after spending so many years in the gym and talking to those guys I understand the level of knowledge and dedication that have...it's evolved into something really attractive to me.
My ideal male body looks about like this: link
There are some women who like muscular men, actually a lot do. when the talk about the gross ones we mean the guy who are all out body builders. ..
And guys (and girls) go to the gym for reasons other than attracting people, some it is for the health benefits others find it relaxing, others it is to help with sports and other hobbies, even to help with where they work/ want to work because it includes physical labor.
Going to the gym is a good things, so long as you don't obsess over it, as is the normal for most things.
To stay healthy and to keep the weight off, I go to the gym as often as I can to lose the weight, not gain muscle.

Women will say "muscles don't matter" but they absolutely do matter. You take a guy who's skinny or overweight, or even normal, but not toned and then give him muscles, but leave everything else about his personality be the same, and he'll immediately be more successful with women.
When women say "muscles don't matter" what they're really saying is that they don't want an uncontrollable roid raging monkey of a man who looks like and acts like he might kill someone if they look at him the wrong way. Short of that, yes, women want muscles and men are wise to acquire them. I've worked as a gym manger for quite some time. I can tell you just how important it is to a man's dating life by just asking around the "before and after" guys.
It matters far more than women will say it matters.
Bottom line, get to the gym and get as jacked as you can without doing roids.Hi, I am a high school football player (DE) and wrestler.
I'm already 6'3".
You are born with the face you get, tough luck.
You can learn how to be more charming by talking with a lot of women.
You are right, I make money by working at Dairy-Queen on the weekends.
Cut wirey guys are the guys who get the sh*t knocked out of them on the field.
It actually does matter, me benching 295 is a lot better than 135 or less, I caan do more damage like that. Also, I want to be as big as possible and have as much muscle mass as possible so I don't get injured as easy.
Besides, if a girl doesn't like my physical strength, so be it. She can date all the boys she wants. When a girl comes around looking for a man however, I will be first picked. (Or maybe not, if I have competition.)
Thank you, and have a nice day. Most women prefer a slightly above average but very lean muscular build. Obviously that doesn't mean they like juiced up bodybuilders but I think a gym trained body is attractive to more women than an average build. Furthermore bigger built men get far more respect from other men and some guys also train in the gym for a sport or general strength. Overall I agree it won't help you that much with women as most the time you will be wearing clothes anyway but you can't do much else to change your physical appeal unless you want to go to an extreme like surgery.
Bro that's definitely not true. muscle mass IS a factor when it comes to women. obviously not like a freaking hulk or body building style but like the taylor lautner or hugh jackman body. girls love them. but I do it for more than just trying to get girls. One reason is because it feels GOOD to be strong. being able to pick up and move stuff easier, messing around with your friends and knowing he can't beat you up for it, etc. but also, I do it for health reasons. I eat a lot of high sodium foods and I need a way to lower my blood pressure and exercising is a way to do it. however, I hate cardio stuff like running, so I lift.
Its depends on the woman. Though, I do get what your saying. Skinny guys do seem to get the most girls overall. When you have too much muscle, you start to walk a little funny. Like there is no doorway big enough for you to walk through. I knew a few guys like that, most girls seem to laugh at those guys behind there backs. Not to mention the stereotype of them having small penises doesn't help much either.
I think overall a girls wants a guy that's in-shape, nothing too crazy. Fat guys always seem to get the short end of the stick when it comes to attracting the opposite sex.Because a good body (athlete, swimmer, soccer player) is a universal language and can compensate for some o the flaws you mentioned. A fit body breaks down so many doors/barriers I didn't quite believe it till I saw it for myself. Girls aren't to dissimilar to guys when it comes to the effect a good physical speciman.
You don't do it for women, you do it for yourself. Your health should be your priority! It doesn't matter how you look, do it because you want to be healthy, not building muscle mass, but just getting some exercise that will flush out your arteries, lower your cholesterol levels, build muscle that will make you more mobile, release cortisol that your body learns to fight off. theirs a lot of benefits of exercising, and if you do it just to attract women then your setting yourself up to fail.
Muscles DO make you look more attractive. Most guys IMO don't look all that good unless they spend time at the gym. It's fair to say that the average male gym goer does it for aesthetics more than strength.
Other than that.. Going to the gym and getting excited about getting a PR and making it happen, is a great confidence booster. Not to mention, lifting just feels good period. For function and pleasure. For me it's a stress reliever and I want to see how I can progress through strength training. I'm not trying to be huge I'm going for certain feats of strength, flexibility, endurance and function.
I don't care if women find it attractive or not. Not why I train. All you need is the Flesh and Blood of Jesus Christ
I am fine with a subway hogie and something else with meat a day...
Yes Ill eat more if my mom cooks but the Lord has granted me strength for being a true Roman Catholic Virgin. And I pray a lotPersonally, I like a man with some meat on his bones. It does not mean he has to be cut. Maybe a few muscles but nothing to extreme. I just want something to hold on to.
I don't know what women you're talking to. I personally care a lot about whether a man is in shape for more than one reason.
Wow, how entitled and arrogant are you? What makes you think we men work out for you? Many simps might workout for female attention. But all the guys I know who have ever been in the gym workout because its fun, its healthy, it's an objective one works towards and we like to compete. Men like to be dominant, and nothing shouts dominance than 19 inch arms.
It's a bonus that women love my arms.Because most will take a cut, buff guy over a cut, wiry guy every day of the week...
ever see a hot girl go for a fat guy? or a runt? it only happens in the movies
Guys with muscle are hot and sexy
Athletic bodies are sexy
A cut up muscular guy is sexy
I'm sure they don't only do it for women but I'm sure they know the appeal. To prove to myself that I can achieve whatever the hell I want.
same reason women wear make up...cause it makes women feel better about how they look and more confident.. it's not necessarily always about the other gender that we do things.
Why do you dudes constantly check out what other guys are doing at the gym?
Better Health Better Sex. Better in shape, Better sex. Better body, Better sex. That is the theory to why men do this.
