If a guy cares about your opinion, does he like you?

Say you call him weird, or make another statement, and he gets really offended

Or saying stuff you're really mean or he will bring up that comment a week later

It's a positive sign but it still doesn't mean that he likes you it could just be that he has a well rounded personality.

I would add that some guys seem to like certain gals AND STILL don't CARE about the GALS opinion. It's sort of a male arrogance.
