Ever stopped liking a guy/girl because they changed hairstyle?

I definitely have a preference for men with dark hair so I understand how its possible but I recently went from burgundy dark red hair to blond and a guy who I liked and was really flirtatious & liked to ogle me really dropped off & mentioned in conversation to dye my hair black. Does anyone have strong hair preferences like that when it comes to the opposite sex, to the point other hair colors are a deal breaker?

Sophomore year of high school, I liked a guy with dark brown hair. After winter break he dyed his hair pee-yellow with electric blue tips. I stopped liking him instantly because he was so stupid looking.

I change in hairstyle can also make me attracted to someone, though. I had a class with this kid during my junior year who had really long curly hair and I didn't notice him really. The next summer he cut his hair to a normal guy length and when I saw him senior year I was like "WHOA."

If a guy ever did discontinue dating you,or liking you because of something as superficial as hair color,he wasn't worth dating in the first place.Secondly,it reeks of desperation if a girl ever changes her appearance (i.e. hair color)just because a guy told her too.Changing appearance on request of a guy shows weakness...and to be honest,he most likely wouldn't make those types of changes for you...

So...don't allow this type of girl to be you.Good luck.

I remember liking a guy for his shiny ginger hair. It reminded me of fire. God did I love his hair. But he dyed it black and I lost interest in him. But I think that's the only case. So the I usually don't care.

For some guys, hairstyle changes can be a deal breaker.

For me, it's not that of a big deal.

As long as the last takes care well of herself, and tries herself to be beautiful, then there's no stopping from me liking her.

Yes. I absolutely despise block fringes, they just look horrible. Center partings where the hair is very straight and just limp looking isn't much better.

I don't mind on the hair color-as long as its not outrageous like punk pink or anything.

But I do mind on hairstyle. Like I once told an ex that I preferred their hair l ongerand to this day even when I see them wondering around with their new girlfriend, it is still that length lol.

It isn't about the color, it's about how it looks on the girl. I like some girls who are blonde, but in general I dislike when a girl dyes her hair blonde. It doesn't mean that's a deal breaker, it just means that she stopped to be special for me with that feature. The same with hair length, there are some girls who are special for me for having long beautiful hair, but if they get a haircut, they are like other girls.

Guys don't care that much about hair. Shaved or extremely short might be the only thing that would put guys off. As far as colored hair, I'm neutral at best. I just know I'm weird and would be more attracted to a semi-tomboy girl that just takes care of her face but doesn't try to be too fancy everyday. My girlfriend wears a ponytail most of the time, and sometimes a baseball hat. if she colored her hair my first thought would be "what a waste of time and money that was".
