Red lipstick looks really bad on most girls (though some can pull it off really well), I think if a girl must have red lips she should go for a sheer red or a red lip stain. Baby pink is another one of those colors that are hard to pull off. Unless your skin color is pretty pale it can look like the dreaded jizz lips. Most guys like for the makeup to look as natural as possible. Red and baby pink lipstick give a very makeup-y look. So maybe a more natural pink that is closer to your natural lip color or a sheer red or red lipstain would be better if you're trying to appeal to what guys "say" they want. If you don't care about what guys think then go for any color you wish!

I like both. I usually wear a pink but sometimes I'm in the mood for a red lipstick. I can't pull off the bold red lip color very well, though. I have small lips and it just makes them look tinier. For red I really like Burt's Bees lip shimmer in cherry. It's a light red that's not too bold. I'm fair skinned and blond so it's really the only red that works for me.
It depends on the woman really. I've noticed that with girls wearing red lipstick only a few can pull it off and those who can't look pretty ridiculous. So for me I prefer pink lips only because it's a color that suits most woman but If a woman can pull of red I'm infatuated.
I definitely like pink more. It seems more natural.
