What does it mean when a guy pretends to stretch his arms and then puts one around you?

So, there is this boy in my class. We have been talking for about 2 months now. I like him, put I'm not sue if he likes me. One day in class, when he was sitting next to me, he pretend to stretch his arm and then puts one around me. I looked at him and smiled, he laugh and said "I'm just kidding". It's the second time he does this. I also want to say that almost every time I see him in school, he gives me a hug.

So, what does it means?

Haha it's a classic flirty move right there! To me that means one of two things, he's either playfully flirting with you and passing it off as a joke, or he's just a very tactile person. Either way, it's playful banter. I'd be unsure to say he's outright flirting, but I'd go with it and see what happens a little further down the line!

I've been there. Well, on his side that is. As that girl said its a pretty common flirty move, and he probably just freaked out and took your smile for a look of unease so he lost his nerve. Next time he does it, lean into him. After that happens and he starts doing more things of that nature than he totally digs you.

He's being funny, because that's a very oooold and well known move seen in movies, shows, cartoons, everywhere. But, he also likes you too. But still, he IS flirting with you HARD in a funny/silly way.
