Bad Boy or Gentleman?

Ok lady's...I was just wondering, do you girl prefer "Bad Boys" or "Gentlemen"...I've noticed that a lot of girls say how they wanna meet a really nice guy (gentleman) who will tell them how much they love you and pull out chairs for you and that stuff. But then a lot of girls cheat on these "Gentlemen" with a "Bad Boy".

It all started with my girlfriend who told me that she thinks I'm a bad boy, tough, masculin and mysterious in a way (don't really know what she meant by "mysterious"?) that only she could tame but she also told me that I'm a real gentleman...it just made me think of all this...so please :)

And please answer this question with either "Gentleman" or "Bad Boy" and not a mix. And an explanation would be great :)

This phenomenon has been discussed on a biological level. On EMS or cheating on a stable man with a less stable or "bad boy" type. It's been theorized that the reason that human females have concealed ovulation is to increase the ease of these transgressions. Why? Because there are two types of men the ones that are really sexy or appealing with great genes and a lot of testosterone. But these guys tend to be the "bad boys" or the least likely to stick around for the offspring. In other studies women have been increasingly physically attracted to men with higher level of testosterone when ovulating.

Anyway, stable men are the ones that care for the children, that we may have with other more suitable men at least genetically speaking. It's just a theory but it's less sexist than the traditional "spread the seed" biological explanation for male sexual behavior.

It depends on what girls are looking for if they wanna mess around they can be with a bad boy. Or if they like a challenge and think they can "change" a bad boy into a gentleman.

I personally like gentlemen with a bit of an edge or kink. Like an intellectual in the streets but a commander in the sheets. :p hehehe I respect myself and I want a partner who respects me. I want someone that I have a lot in common with and that I can take home to my mother. I want a man that I am proud to have on my arm. For me that isn't a bad boy. My father is a bad boy and it isn't a good look. I don't want to have to walk on eggshells, or worry what uncouth thing he may say at a family function or him making disgusting jokes with my friends etc. I want to trust that he will behave and that he has self-control and is presentable. I want a partner not a misbehaving son who throws tantrums and is unpredictable and garish.

Well personally, I love a guy who's both a gentleman & a bad boy (I know you said not to mix, but there's no choosing between haha.. sometimes a guy really is both & it's a good thing!)... I'm not the type of girl who needs a guy to open her door... pull out her chair... etc. By gentleman, I mean.. protect me, get along with my family, respectful towards me and the people I care about, show his love for me... A guy who's a bad boy... they don't care what anyone else thinks in a way... they're tough like you said! Something that might oddly turn a girl on & consider a guy to be a bad boy is the way he drinks or if he smokes... how he acts & what he likes to do (race cars, make money the wrong way haha)... if he's got a certain type of past that she knows about... the type of rep he has in the area. Little things.. Being both a bad boy & gentleman are good qualities to have!

Haha NOOO no not at all... like idk.. my boyfriend for example lives on the edge.. he does a lot of bad things & gets money prob. in ways that he really shouldn't. Not to say that that's a good thing, but it just adds to the bad boy persona I guess you could say ha!

Haha naa! He's just a country boy! :) Does a few bad things to get by... sometimes I wish he wouldn't, but nothing's happened to him yet! He's a good guy though (to me).. so, don't get the wrong image of him hahaha! I've had the time of my life with him & look forward to all our crazy adventures in the future! Bring on the cops & all the good memories haha. Nothing better than that! You keep those forever! Not to be mainstream.. In fact I hate this term haha.. but, uhhhh, YOLO. hahahaha. XD

this is just the same old nice guy vs bad boy debate, the only difference is you are now calling nice guys "gentleman" ...but they are not the same thing, anyone can be nice, you have earn the right to be called a gentleman, and not just by being nice, he has to be someone who is respectful, polite, and courteous to all, but is also strong, independent and is ready and willing to stick their neck out and make stands for other people and just causes.

This is what every girl wants.

Most of the girls I know prefer Gentleman, but Bad Boy is always approaching them with confidence while Gentleman sulks in the corner so they go with the Bad Boy.

A bad boy, definitely, but there's a difference between a bad boy and a bad guy.

I like guys who are rebellious, a little rough around the edges, but they have to have hearts of gold underneath, or I'm not interested. Meanness is a huge turn off.

Definitely gentleman, sure it might be cute at first if you are a bad boy but when a girls really looking for a real relationship it'd be a gentleman. What girl doesn't want a man that treats her perfect and is there for her when she's sad and holds every door open for her

Absolutely not. I am not just saying this but I am one of the most loyal people I know if nothing else. I do not cheat. If I really felt for someone else (which I doubt) whilst with someone already I would finish my current relationship!

That's what sucks, that a lot of girls don't. Not only girls, boys do as well, and I just think it's disgusting that people cheat on their partner. One of my really good friends were actually cheated on lately, he's totally devastated...I feel really bad for him, he's a really nice guy and he had invested a lot in the relationship so it's really sad to see him going through all that.
