Do girls like gentlemen or the bad guys aka fuckboys?

I’m assuming majority are gonna say gentleman. But, the thing I don’t get is if majority of the girls want gentleman, why do they fall for the bad boy and just kinda leave the gentleman in the dust?

I dated a bad boy but only because he fooled me into thinking he wanted to change and be a better person. I actually believed him only because my best friend brother was a bad boy and when he turned 20 he was like a complete different person. So I gave him a chance and I learned my lesson after he broke up with me. I don't understand why some girls like bad boys. It was so stressful being with him. Thinking he's in some type of trouble because of his friends. So I was glad that the relationship was over and started dating nerdy type guys who likes to play video games instead of going out and is also a gentleman.

I think most women are attracted to the confidence bad boys have, the mystery and the thrill of seeing if they have what it takes to "tame" them. On the flip side, I think the attraction to a gentleman is the safe, secure feeling they provide. It really will just depend on where the woman is in her life and what needs she has to be met.
