Is 5'3 and 120-117 pounds 'thick'? Is 'thick' another way of saying 'fat'? (Page 2)

Hi. Can't believe I'm asking this. I'm a 23 year old who has struggled with weight due to a thyroid disease for years. For the past year I've consistently been at the gym for an hour about 4-6 days a week. I have muscle tone and definition, but I'll never be a thin model type- I'm more like a Scarlet Johansson (I've got hips and a butt). Anyhow...the other day a guy I know said I was "thick". I take that as saying I'm fat. Can anyone please explain? Do you think that being 5'3 and athletic qualifies me as "thick"? you could say that. is Good fat. is when you have fat in the right place which is nothing wrong. on the contrary from my point of view, I think that is beyond sexy

Scarlet Johansson has no butt.  Thick is not fat.  Overweight people have tried to hijack thick.  Thicker women are attractive to me.

Thick is good.  For me, as long as your figure is hour-glassed, that's thick.

5'3" 120 sounds healthy to me.  I don't see how you could be fat by any stretch of the imagination.  Keep doing what you're doing.

That's definitely not fat. You're slightly taller and the same weight as the last girl I fancied and I can tell you she was nowhere near fat.

I rarely use the term thick myself but it generally means exactly what it says. Being considered thick is similar to being chubby or fat but with a firmer and harder body.
