Would you date a guy 22yrs old with no car?

this guy I have been talking to lied to me he made it seem like he had a car. On our first date he made me drive and I never saw his car being said he was suppose to drive his car on our first date. There hasn't been a second date yet but today he wanted to do somthing for sat. so he asked me what I wanted to do ...I came up with an idea but I also asked for his opinion and he said something else that was not nearby so then I asked who was driving and he said he was. To make my question more specific I asked if he was taking his car so he replies saying he didn't have a car anymore he had sold it and that because of that he hadn't asked me to hang out. So here I am thinking of him about dating this guy. I feel like it wouldn't work out If I was to continue with him because we don't live at a walking distance. He is 22 years old and not having a car makes me think of his possible bad choices he has made and what a future can hold if I were to stay with him and on top of that he lives at home with his parents so I find it hard to understand why he wouldn't have a car in the first place. he Has a job I'm wondering now how he commutes to his work. I really dislike liars so it's a big turn off to know he lied and his big idea was to go out of town approx one hr away without having a car. Now I want to add I have a car but I live in a neighbor that is hard to find parking spaces on the street and if I were to be the one driving I can only imagine having to park far and walking all by myself back home at night which is scary and dangerous especially when you are a girl all by yourself ...during the day of course I wouldn't mind. I'm bummed that he lied. He could have at least been honest.

I know that many guys get embarassed because they are in their early 20's and either have no jon, live with the 'rents or are unemployed. To make things worse many girls swear that they would never date a guy who had less than them. I think that he may have been used to girls who rejected him because of a lack of a car and wanted to get you attracted to him outside of material things. I suggest you actually sit down and tell him about this problem and make an infprmed decision on how to move forward.

I once told a girl I had a rich uncle, who would let me drive his Ferrari every other Saturday. She believed it LOL. Of course he's not rich or does he drive a Ferrari. I can't even drive due to my learning disability I can't even pass the written test that's how bad it is. Women only seem to want good looking rich guys.

lol no not all girls but i think that depending where you live it is important to have some sort of transportation, if i lived in new york city i would careless if a guy had or didn't have a car there's so much public transportation that why bother driving a vehicle it just depends on the circumstances..trust me I've dated guys who are not rich and don't have a nice car but i date them because i like them and they have good goals in life! as a matter of fact none of my ex bfs have been rich lol

22 is still young.. I'm 22, still in school (graduate school) and living with my parents. I don't own my own car. the more important thing is that he has a license and good job but the fact that he lied should be your biggest concern.

Some guys cared that I live home. I use my parents car though if he lives at home he should do that.

What the hizz! Not every guy needs to have a car and 22 is still quite young. Having his own place and job seems more important then a car quite honestly.

I wonder if he is 25 and still lives at home is gonna be an issue?
