What does it mean when a girl says 'awe'?

This girl I'm interested in was in one of my classes a couple of years ago and I just recently started texting her (within the past couple months). I invited her out with some of my friends and said she should bring some of hers. She responded by saying 'awe I'm exhausted but have fun!'

is she flattered or is the 'awe' the same kind of awe she gets from seeing a cute little puppy. Like saying its cute and amusing you would ask me, it was a nice try but that's not gonna happen.

She sounds flattered and feels like you've being a little flirty with her. There's nothing cute or puppyish about inviting someone to hangout with you. I'd suggest you just keep talking to her and trying to get together with her, but if she keeps rejecting you don't pressure her further. There's always a possibility that she's not interested and is just trying to be nice.

Honestly, the way she wrote it seems as though she's not interested in hanging out. If she really wanted to hangout she would've made sure you knew that although this night doesn't work out, that maybe another night would.

I find it offensive and insulting when a woman says she's flattered but gives me a reason she can't. I'd like to see you women approach and ask out men 100s of times only to be told some BS excuse why they don't want to date you. In short, it sucks.
