Outgoing/center of attention or chill/laid back?

When dating do you pefer a person that has to be the center of attention most of the time or do you prefer someone that just enjoys being in the background?This question is for guys and girls

Hmmm...I appreciate people who are chill and laid back yet I love dating someone who's outgoing. I like the best of both worlds. I don't want to deal with dating someone who constantly strives to be the center of attention because that just gets exhausting. However, I love dating someone who's outgoing and can enjoy social events with me! There are two sides to me: Sometimes I'm really social and I absolutely adore going out there and meeting all different types of people. I feed off of the energy! Other times, I'm a homebody and I'd rather get some close friends together and chill at one of our homes or if I do go out, I just want one on one time. So yeah, I could be attracted to either : )

I'd prefer someone who enjoys being in the background but who can deal with attention. I dated a "center of attention" guy once and it's like you have to share him with almost everybody and I don't fancy that. Also, I feel someone who needs to be the center of attention all the time a bit insecure, like he has to be validated by others through the attention they give him and if he doesn't get the attention he'll be annoyed. I know a girl like that and I can't stand her crave for attention. But my examples are a bit extreme though.

It depends on what sort of personality they have though I would have to say for the vast majority I would prefer laid back over centre of attention though this can have its disadvantages sometimes especially when your trying to get people to open up to you.

Laid back 100% I hate girls that just want to be centre of attention. Honestly it's too much effort and you never get any time too relax.
