  However, to answer your question, while the alpha males are out starting wars, embezzling from Wall Street, and doing jail time for steroids and spousal abuse, the so-called "beta males" and us women will be happily taking care of each other and raising our families as equals in the relationship.

  Beating your chest and proclaiming your superiority is actually a sign of inferiority. A person doesn't have to be dominant to be desirable. No one wants to be dominated, either men or women.
  
  NO MAN should put up with a domineering woman. Two people need to RESPECT each other's strengths and PROTECT each other's weaknesses. That's what a partnership... a marriage... a good, safe, healthy relationship IS.

  Lol. There's just been so much of this alpha male crap lately, guys bragging about how manly they are, I thought about my betta fish and how he's like a beta human... how women like them because they're pretty, easy to care for, etc.
