There is something so sweet and so sensual about the written word. Sure most of us have written or received a text that made us smile, blush or even caused a "deeper" physical reaction. There is something so true and so thoughtful in today’s society, in the world of social media; to put your words down in ink, something that is lasting, something you can’t delete with one click! Something that you can fold and put in an envelope and write your sweetheart’s name across!

Now some people say they don’t send out cards or write people letters due to the cost of postage, well you don’t have to mail it. Leave it somewhere they will find it, maybe slip it into their pocket or bag. Place it on a table in their(your) home.

Just think of the object of your affection and their smile and the happiness that you’ll bring them in this handcrafted token. Something that they can keep back and read over and over, a love letter is one of the dearest things you could ever give.

Some people think it might be too sappy but I’ll tell you what, when it is from the heart and given to the right person it will be a thrill for you both.
